@maryfarrukh buddy only mentioning f7 and avengers aou here is because those are the most watched about and talked movies uptil now for 2015 ! this movie blows em apart quite literally ! it was BETTER than both ! now i don't want to go into techincal stuff but just saying it was much of a delight than both of em IF compared. this isn't a techincal showdown just one's opinion :)

about the censoring, well i saw it in IMAX and the only censored part i saw was the
Spoiler: show
one girl says something bad to max,
that's all ! they totally audioed it out not even in subs which were coming hehe, other wise quite a clean movie to begin with..

Mad Max: Fury Road

Holy crap! LOUDEST. MOVIE. EVER. I have very mixed feelings about it. I went in with super high expectations seeing all the 9s and 10s but I am kinda in the middle somewhere. I absolutely loved the world they created and all the chaos that was going on but at a point it was just too much to intake and I wanted the movie to just end at that point but now that I am home I keep thinking about it and want to watch it again but don't know if I can go through all the loudness and explosions again.

Tom Hardy was an absolute delight to watch as always so was Charlize Theron, but i'd rather have taken more of Max than Furiosa.

+Absolute carnage.
+Incredible sound design and soundtrack.
+Tom Hardy

-Got a little too weapon-heavy
-Too much explosions -ign
-Got repetitive

I am confused. Excuse my negatives contradicting my positives. I am not gonna rate it.

All this talk about Mad Max has me hyped. I have a few questions.

First, it seems like the movie is only available in 3D, so I just wanna know that 3D doesn't take anything away from the experience.

Second, should I watch the old Mad Max movies first?

Third, best cinema in Karachi? I've only ever been to Atrium, twice, and the second time had a speaker that started cracking halfway through. So I'd prefer to avoid Atrium.

1) No, it only adds if anything.
2) No need.
3) Nueplex. Their sound system is just phenomenal. Super loud and super crisp and that's exactly what you need for this movie.

Like it or not, you have to admit, there's stuff this movie has done that you've never seen in action movies before.

saw "POLTERGEIST" at cinepax fortress lahore

well it's another remake, it was just like the original one but with the new fancy cgi and stuff here and there... it was no where horror as u may know already, just a bit thrilling and few cheap scare tactics u know... 2-3 at most. was just ok to watch. i'd advise go watch tomorrowland instead of this, atleast that would have some bit of fun, this was just OK or not thrilling enough as a horror movie infact this wasn't horror at all. some paranormal stuff going on that's about it

Rating: 4/10

- - - Updated - - -

Yes yes totally. I am definitely watching it again.
i'd want too aswell :D next weekend though, need to digest this weeks experience first !

KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE (2014)

~ The suit is a modern gentlemen's armor. Kingsman are the new knights.

My mind is BLOWN. What a f*cking spectacular movie this is. Insane amount of fun, mind boggling action pieces, classy British humor with quite an original plot and terrific villain. This is by far the most stylish British movie I have watched to date and enjoyed it so much that I was fully devoted to it. The prime credit goes to its cast, and outstanding direction of Matthew Vaughn. Colin Firth has never been more bad-ass. Big fan of him. From "The King's Speech (2010)" to this, MAD props to him.

So many great scenes in there. But two stand out from all the others, and boy do they pump your heart. The 'Bar fight' and the 'Church scene''; the latter being the best of both worlds. Screw the cartoonish violence, I FREAKIN LOVED THE ACTION. Whatever filter and technique they chose, it works miraculously well, looks dangerously aggressive and feels energetic. The 'freefalling scene, that gave me goose bumps'.

The amount of technology shown is also amazing (Ah, the ideas :|); 'Holographic meeting', 'badass umbrella', 'star wars program' ... and 'The Suit'. I have never been more fascinated by a 'bespoke' suit; the temptation is not going down :S 'Oxford, Not Brogues'; Words to live by Gentlemen. -_- Just love the way how honest it is when it comes to formal wear. RESPECT! (On a side note, Is it just me or the dangerous outcome of overusing your mobile devices was implied almost clearly? Just a mind twisting thought, what If all this was actually possible? Wait, don't answer that.)

~ "A gentleman's name should appear in newspaper only three times. When he's born, When he marries, and when he dies."

Kingsman got jokes as well. One doesn't need to try hard to understand its references to Bond movies. "In old days they had a phone in the heel as well"; 'asshole' (oh I still remember that -_-). Some scenes are more hilarious in themselves. Eggsy's 'V sign after Parkour', or hearing him say "Are you taking the fucking piss?" while wearing a suit. This guy did it so beautifully that every bit of him was demanding a laugh. Lets not forget the Villain, Valentine. With a lisp in his tongue, Samuel L. Jackson was making me laugh hard. What a character. Mark Strong as the trainer and quartermaster was well suited for the role.

I am going to rate it 10/10 because lets admit it, its been 3 days since I have watched it and I still feel it has given me the entertainment of a millennium. The over-the-top bullet-fest the final scenes were, after the colorful heads were blown; very few movies kept up the same level of entertainment and enthusiasm for me. Kingsman made me extremely happy, and I laughed a lot. This was classy, Fun, and freaking AMAZING to watch.

P.S. How the flying f*ck did Fifty Shades of Grey manage to beat this movie at Box Office ($569m vs. $403m)? Just how? *I-don't-want-to-live-on-this-planet-anymore*

Not to forget how Samuel L. Jackson outdid himself! hahaha! It was the first time I found him playing such a hilarious, and a completely different character, than he usually does.

That scene, I had to dig it up on YouTube (where the a** was censored as well) :S Because all the BDRips available, are censored. Church scene is available in full, but I have my doubts over that too. Even though it was gory enough and (Colin Firth did use a Gun to stab someone), the info available on the interwebs is less so can't confirm if it was indeed full fledge scene. Same goes for that a**hole scene at the end.

I always watch movie with its full cut i.e. Unrated and All the Minutes (including bloopers and stuff - if its worth it). And if there is one thing still making me sad (and annoyed) is the fact that some of the crucial scenes are missing from all the BluRay rips :( FUUUUUUUUUUu. I hate it.

I'm glad to see every movies addict like MAD MAX 2015 which is no doubt a good movie to be watch on big screen imo also....

Character building is very good in this movie, no one gets bored easily while watching this movie, and action scene is superb and unexpected awesome so go and watch it. its not a typical theatrical movie like Avengers/Fast 7.

10/10

Nah sorry 8/10 (8 is liye k I WANT MORE ACTION ON THAT BECAUSE I LUV THAT INSANE ACTION SCENES)

Spoiler: show
In the comic the church scene is at the beginning. Only its a typical wedding where after the wows the bride and groom slit each others throats, and what proceeds is anybodys guess.

The ending is also epic. The villain succeeds in firing the satellite but the heros reprogram the signals to induce opposite signals... so the whole world dissolves in one massive orgy (evil)

Kingsmen had SO MANY awesome scenes. Church scene was my favourite though. Perfectly executed. I just hate myself for not watching it in the cinema.
