I'm second prestige level 41 right now. playing on the PS3. Key to ranking up is playing with the specialist package, because once you get to 8 kills and unlock the specialist bonus you start to get double xp and thus leveling up is easy.

I have managed to get 2 MOABs. Both in free for all matches using the specialist class and MP7 which IMO is the best weapon in the game. I used one of mine prestige tokens to unlock the MP7 from the start.

elite is fully functional for the premium members, thus me.

I've been skimming through its features and I have to say I am impressed at what they have achieved with elite.
- Its a facebook for call of duty players.
- You can create clans level them up and unlock stuff for the entire clan.
- You can join and create groups, write on the wall of the group and discuss and comment on member of the group.
- At first i though the compete thing would be useless for us Pakistanis but that is not the case. the challenges are simple, you have to enlist yourself in the challenge and and then carry on whatever the challenge was in public matches. Challenges are simple, like most domination flag captures, most kills confirmed, most flag defended. And if you manage to win you get free stuff like emblems titles and stuff specific to elite.
- The improve area is also REALLY great. every detail about the guns, maps, perks, strike packages is available. How many shot to kill in shot range and how many in long, recoil, reload time and much more. Really does help you improve.

This is my initial impressions. Although I haven't checked it out fully, it still seems like a really well thought out service and much better than battlelog which was basically a place where you could see your stats.

PS3 players should check out the MP thread in the PSN section. We are going to start a clan and group and everything. So you can join us there.

This is me getting a MOAB (sm1)

Key to getting a MOAB.
- The specialist package.
- 3 most important perks. Assassin Pro, Scavenger Pro and Blind eye. Make sure you set your specialist package in such a way you get these as soon as possible.

So, while playing MW3, my mouse sensitivity will randomly decide to skyrocket. It'll be fine for like 30 seconds, then all of a sudden moving my mouse like one inch makes me aim all over the place. It does this repeatedly. It pretty much makes the game unplayable. Anyone else have this issue and know of a possible solution? yesterday after downloading 14 GB worth of crap steam started downloading 2 GB again..
when it was done the game started working played it for like 4 hours

then i closed the game..and went to eat dinner (steam was running) then came back after 30 mins
and what do i see ?
Steam started downloading 7.3 GB again.. WTF ?
i checked the steamapps>common folder and guess what..
mw3 folder which had 14 GB of shit..was back on 6.71

HOLY shittttttttttttttttttt...
i m so angry right now...

how can this happen a game that was working fine 30 mins ago..lost 7 GB worth of data..in a flash..
now what ? download 7 GB again ? with this 1 mb connection ??

When it comes to story, action, narrative and set pieces, BF3 has nothing on MW3.
I'm half way through, it's been awesome. Gameplay feels considerably crap. Heck they could've made it aa on rails shooter

Apologies to the loved ones i argued with on this matter (sm1)

Continuing, while gun sounds in MW2 were disappointing, Guns models on the other hand, were Appealing.

I am playing Survival Mode these days. Have completed all the Missions on Veteran which, unlike MW2 were fairly easy to complete in this one. However i do like some of the 'Insertions' and 'Extractions' during missions.
Currently at Level 44.

Gotta admit this is one helluva Fast Paced Survival Mode ... BUT after a couple of waves, it starts to become Boring. My enthusiasm ended after i hit a 33rd wave in Easy Level, and 13th Wave in one of the Insane Levels.

Till 13th Wave of Insane Levels, game starts to become incredibly tough ... like seriously tough. After that, Run & Gun completely fails.


So far i have completed the story once again at Veteran which wasn't as tough as i expected it to be, and have gathered all the Intel.
Since the Veteran failed to provide the expected Challenge, i will not play the Story Mode THAT much. A couple of times more and after that, only wait for MP.

But really ... Rs.1900 wont feel much to you. For they are like ... Half a month's expenditure for me (sm1)

I am only saying i wont spend my father's hard earned money on this. However, if it was my money, heck i would've purchased BF3 without a hitch.

Hmmm, that's strange. I have a 50 MB connection and am reasonably lucky, but i'm still bad at the game.

Ok, finished MW3 campaign in one night.

It felt like they just took the best scenes, maps and levels from all the previous games, shined and polished them and made MW3.

It was very predictable, easily playable and riddled with Deja Vu. A lot of it felt familiar for the wrong reasons.

The campaign was however, exciting.

The graphics were average. No significant improvement and no innovation this time.

BF3 has the graphic glory! AMEN

and the worst thing about MW3 was the audio. Goddam music. I hated the music in game and the sound was overall very choppy and crappy.
