Judging by the lack of comments and this thread being on the 3rd page, i assume people are not liking the season so far?

For me personally the first episode was awesome, the other 2 have been boring :crying:, i hope things pick up on the next episodes.

^^ main reasons the overall underwhelming nature of the shows adopted so far... either the writers are creating a false sense of lull before some big reveal/twist (they can kill dexter halfway to the finale and spend the rest eps showing flashbacks )

no worthy villain, Charlotte Rampling has too many vibes of Edward James Olmos's exposition heavy character, the only good things are Debra's breakdowns (that scene between deb and Rampling 'are you feeling alright?' qualifies the latter for a GoT role!) and that mexican chics
'scenes' cracked ribs hell yeah!! (evil)

Saw the 5th ep. I honestly can't say where this is going from here. They better do something quick or this last season will the most forgettable season of the whole damn show.

5 Episodes and only one person killed by Dexter so far. That's a first.

The season has been pretty laid-back so far, every character seems lost and disoriented but last episode's conclusion portends that things are going to get interesting now that the characters are back on track.
