They also told me on the phone if they upgrade my connection to 8mbps it is going to still remain capped at 300gb (even though it is advertised as unlimited). It will remain so till the 31st of January.

This renders the 'upgrade' virtually useless. As with double the speed, you could go through your alloted quota of 300gb in a matter of weeks(if not days) and therefore, end up paying a lot more than you were originally.

What a hustle.

So i finally managed to get 8 mbps promo on fiber optic, the speed is satisfactory but the ping i get in online games especially on US/CA servers is not that great. Even my nitro gave me better pings ~330 ping but this gives me ~360. Is it normal?

Same with me and i just called 1236 for Revert of my package back to 4mb and they said it wil be changed in 48hrs but no tension for me lol bcoz i was already getting 4mb but 1236 guys were telling Me that in the system its showing 8mb. lol Fuck Off PTCL.

Profile for smarttv users is capped at 9215kbps in which you get 6Mbps internet downstream and rest is for IPTV. Earlier one could use the remaining data if iptv was turned off but now they have capped it to6Mbps. You don't feel any difference in browsing nor streaming nor any vidoes makes any difference because they have so many filters.Customers aupport is lousy.They know just to clear the cache lol

I want to revert back to 2mbps when promotional package expire ie. end of dec

Q is when I should ask them to downgrade my package ??

Have you ever thought about it WHY its capped at 6Mbps when you are paying for 8Mbps (IF you are on a 8Mbps package)? This way, you'd be paying for 8Mbps, but are getting LESS speeds. You are also paying EXTRA for Smart TV. So basically, you are AT A LOSS. Company is screwing you over with this sh*t and some people seem just fine with it. <_<

Thats what I have been telling them but the response is ap ki complaint forward kar di gai ha and then on the next day it gets closed.Imran khan is right "akhir mai kaha jao apna haq mangnay"

Was just downgraded to 8Mbps port. I'm using SmartTV so it should be 10Mbps. Download speeds when using SmartTV have gone down by 200KB/s

sorted out how ....pls explain --i had 8mb and due to some strange reason its on 4mb - from exchange its ok full 8mb , but from there to house there is a problem some where - was working fine but now they dont know what to make of it -

hahaha..obviously that would happen...itnay screenshots jo share kiye thay..kisi na kisi ki to nazar lagni thi na over that load balancer thing u did back there..
anyways..he called the HQ,,sme guys came..changed the line..puri ki puri..but then the issue is that my area exchange is not capable of handling >4mb atm...thats y bebas thay wo b.. but before line change..the ptcl folks somehow messed up with my connection..that it wasnt going anywhere above 1mb.:/

na i am still happy with that i have , chalo lets see if fibre is launched in my area or not ---but quality of service of PTCL is bad
