With 4MB I used to have a download rate of almost 450kb/s. Was Expecting the download to cross 900kb/s but somehow mysteriously its 800+-.
I am still happy with it though. Double the speed for an extra 400Rs doesn't seem like a bad deal.

Have u got iptv too. If yes then ur sync is low or if u r not having iptv then get ur sync increased to 9000+ for achieving 950KB download speed.

Epakistani i have tried my dash out to make my synchronization rate to 11000kbps from 9215kbps because am IPTV user too but nothing happened.. Its a crap when u turn on the iptv they speed drags down to 6Mbps.. Ill be downgrading it because its of no use

Guys i just upgraded to this promo offer, download speed is fine 700 - 800 but upload speed is really bad.....just like a 2mb connection.

Anyone else having this issue?

Its like this for everyone.Uploads are capped to 1.5Mbps at max

200 GB is nothing they should give at-least 300 to 400 GB minimum. Price of 8 MBPS is also very high

No differences in browsing and uploading. Only difference u will see is on downloading speed. It is useless to convert on 8 mpbs it u are a normal user who don't download much like me

why did u downgrade now ? the promo has time limit till end of jan ! probably better to downgrade right about the 25th of jan just to be safe

so anyone else got higher rates than usual for upgrading to the 8mb promo ? i just did this month, frm the usual 2100rs i got 2639rs dsl charges ! i mean WTF is ptcl doing, after talking to 2 different reps at ptcl 1236 they told me i was on the 8mb 10 gb package ! WTF ! i mean 10gb on an 8mb wth and they idiots didn't even know what the offer is. just kept on saying sir the offer is on speed not data limit.. the hell man these ppl are idiots

10 GB limit x_x leave PTCL. Most of the ppl I know in Karachi have left PTCL for other ISPs.

Bad times for ptcl has started .. The mf have started to bill customers for nothing.. Look the damn taxes its more than the dsl charges .. Fkheads charged me 1500rs for modem change .. Modem got fried and they charged me 1500rs.. To be honest i dont feel any difference in browsing even though I ave downgraded to 2Mbps frm 8.. Soon ptcl will be doomed !!!

What? Whaats going on? Did they change the terms again? Last I heard, 8MB package was for 2100rs untill december with unlimited downloads, and 2500 after that i think with 200GB download limit.
Can someone please confirm this? Because I'm downloading shit like crazy!
