NOTE: We all knows the problems regarding PTCL's infrastucture, and how pathetic it has become. SO NO NEED TO MAKE A FUSS ABOUT IT. You are warned.

If you are running a fiber, then you practically are on a feasible line. Otherwise, you can just look at your line stats. If at any given sync value (4Mbps or above at Downstream), your SNR Margin stays above 15 or 20dB ... then your line is more than feasible.
Do note that at Double Downstream Rate, your SNR Margin value will drop by almost HALF. So if say, at a 4Mbps, your SNR Margin is 20dB ... it'll go down to 10dB at 8Mbps. So yeah, your line has to be in perfect condition for you to be able to upgrade to 8Mbps.
