Yup they might have detected marlene, didn't encounter the problem after that area. Played a bit more today, got hold of the stealth mechanics works quite well.

i have the option to take screens from the XMB, they were lossless png, but they were like 2MB each, I downsized these before uploading them.
Put journey in that something else part. Like CT said, for the lulz.

Can you take screenshot of every game with that stuff? If so then tell me about it too.
^ in the middle of the game just press the PS button to bring up the XMB, go to the photos panel, and there should be a "Screenshot" option right there.

KZ is much lower .. the controls are just THAT bad. Even for Dualshock 3. The patch improved some and reduced the dead zones and the latency, but compared to other shooters i've played so far, they're REALLY bad.

Since last update, I have finished Heavy Rain as well. So that's one more game that I'll be 'reviewing' soon. I have started Dragon's Crown since then, it's a fun little Vanillaware game.
I'll tackle UC2 later, for now here's a brief review of KZ2. The game didn't warrant much to be siad IMO, generally disappointing in all regards.
Ok so lets get this out of the way, the final game is nowhere close to the 2006 trailer.
First, everything looks a bit blurry, the game's not sub HD, but it's the old QAA that they ditched for MLAA GOW3 onwards, secondly, the control latency is very bad, something a lot of people are already familiar with.
The game has good set piece moments, buildings blow up real nice. It's also just as linear,if not more, than the average Call of Duty game, though not anywhere near as fast paced.
Visuals:
Sometimes nice, meaty chunky character models look nice, post process effects are also pretty good, notably the motion blur.
Sound:
Voice acting is decent, Brian Cox as Scolar Visari is the stand out. Also, they used the guy who voiced Hakha to voice Radec, I thought for a second it was Hakha himself, which would have made a good plot twist that Hakha went back to the Helghast.
Gameplay:
It's a shooter, with terrible controls. That is all.

Chandoo, I don't visit the thread too often but I do take out time to read your personal take on those PS3 games, and I respect that. However, I personally feel that scores with decimals attached give the impression that you are still undecided in your heart and mind. It's upto you ofcourse, but I would really like to see solid 7/10 or 8/10 scores instead of some confused 6.5 or 7.3 results.
Really glad that you finally get to play what you previously missed. Keep it up and I hope you enjoy the games.

I wanted to take pictures from heavy rain, but unfortunately it's one of those games that doesn't pause when you press the XMB button (unlike Uncharted etc, which pause and let you take the snap of the exact frame you're paused on). The game has some nice looking places, especially when it's raining. The rainy area outside the mad doctor's house you visit as Madison stood out. Shit looked great.

so far, these are the PS3 games I've played for transparency's sake.
Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 1 and 2, Heavy Rain, Yakuza 3, God of War 3, Killzone 2.
Out of these, the most fun I had was either Yakuza 3 or GOW 3.

Truth be told, for games released in 2008, Gears 2 would rank much higher than MGS4 at least
Gears 2 LOOKS (outside of cutscenes) and most most MOST definitely PLAYS better than MGS4. Hell, you can also argue Gears 2 has a more coherent and less "holey" plot than MGS4 too, but I don't wanna incur the wrath of Shyber on me
umm, outside of cutscenes MGS4 is a blurry sub HD mess, Gears 2 by comparison is a sharper, crisper and simply better looking game. Sure MGS4 has some stand out areas in acts 3 and 4, but the first two acts look incredibly bland.
