I don't know if it helps or not, but had the same case of over-possessiveness. Preferred isolation over connections, when I finally opened up after sometime I just lost interest and I was like what the hell went wrong? Still haven't figured my answer yet.

But be very subtle about this. If they screw shit up, have them know that you did not approve the way shit was screwed up. Dont forgive everything from the get-go.

Between all of this, do not at any point in life, become an ass. A gentleman is what you are. A dignified gentleman who holds himself in high self esteem.

But that's the way i live...
They have the freedom to choose.. either live with me or leave..
but they themselves choose to be with me.. and me only and they are fine this way so why should i care.

Children's are innocent, selfish. Girls too and you can control them but ATLEAST don't make them your dogs or SERVANTS.

It is very easy to make a girl fool, have night stands and do all the romance you want to. You can do whatever you want to because the girls are dumb enough to believe our white lies. But brother if you loved a girl sincerely you will know her value, her freedom, her heart. Everything to make her smile. You will realize how important woman are. As our Islam says that the woman is full of emotions and we should NOT play with those emotions by treating them as a servant.
Moreover if you have this quality of yours, Your son will have same and It creates a massive shit all over the globe, I feel sorry for guys who play, treat their girls like a shit. It doesn't take a hard hard job to understand and make them like they want to, They are already very much screwed up in our society a lot of lack of freedom and guys like you increase.

Anyway this is going offtopic. At OP, It'll really help if you understand about other party feelings, their wants and compare them with yours. This is how we build a strong relationship, Possessiveness is okay, But over dose of it is dangerous!

Some one said it right.. never judge any one by his internet appearance.. he may be not like u think he is.

Sure every body has the right for freedom and i already have posted.. that's what i do, u do as u like...

I don't keep them as dogs.. but as Obedient as a servant (it's a metaphor.. nothing like a real 'servant')..
I respect girls but i don't like disobedience and i don't like compromising on many other things
I never lie to them about any thing and i expect the same from them.. i hate lies

these are my simple rules.. if they break any rule.. if they ever lie or dis obey me then they are off my book.. off from my Phone, heart, mind and my world and then there cries are nothing to me but water... because when i am true i deserve the same

I don't prison them.. they have liberty to choose, but they choose me and my ways.
