4870 at cheap prices

Guys,

Just visited a shop in Techncity they are selling XFX 4870 at a price of 13K.

Shop name is easy tech and is lcoated at sony display center row at the oppsite of money exchange

Bro can u please tell what was the model number and version for those 4870's ?
Coz the ones galaxy has recently restocked are Version C don't remember the model number. As compared to the previous XFX 4870 i had seen they was very different, the card was very light and the build quality also pathetic. It had a fan design similar to found in some 4770's and almost like the one being used in the 5850.
I hope the ones u saw were a better version, with a better cooler :)

yar i try to get more info as i just had to visit technocity for my another work and casually asked the price. As i get moer info i update

^ Check the specs on the box to see whether these are crippled/downgraded versions or not. XFX as we all know has had a notorious reputation lately for selling crippled cards.

Bro totally agree with u !
As the one i opened for inspection at a galaxy's distributor was definitely the crippled version.
The price is definitely reasonable but what matters is the model of the card. I was about to get the xfx version but after seeing the card itself i changed my mind. Throwed in a bit more cash and got the HIS icq4+ turbo. Better value for money.

If the Model # is not: HD-487A-ZWFC then i'll be thinking of getting one for a crossfire setup :)

waise agar card sahi ho to 13k meray andaaze main buhut sasta hay 12.5k ka gts 250 hay meray khayal main

Well if it's the same version that galaxy had in stock before it finished. Then my friend this is an aweesoooome deal :) Definitely a bang for the buck ! I hope that it is (HD-487A-ZDDC) /(HD-487A-YDDC) /(HD-48ZA-ZHDC) model

Also let us know the price of GTS250 from techno city.

Oh COME ON ! ! :mad: dont u guys see who really is to blame here ? its NOT AT ALL XFX !! its The Fooked Galaxy to blame...they are the ones who specifically order crippled version since they cost em much much cheaper ( SINCE THEY ARE A BAD BATCH FROM XFX AND HENCE USELESS FOR XFX pine group ) and hence much higher profit yields....

so trust me XFX is a really reputable company and is not to blame here...the Mofo galaxy ppl are ! :mad:

P.S ive tried almost every brand of Gpu's out there...Zotac, XFX , EVGA, INNO3D, MSI, ECS, PALIT, GIGABYTE and trust me XFX is one of the better ones...especially with their Black editions...
