I've updated to "8.1.1" again. If my system becomes slow/ lags like last time I'm never updating again
Update 1 had no effect on system performance. If its any consolation, Animations have become smoother.
However, the boot time seems to have affected a bit. Windows takes 4-5 seconds more to fully boot, though I don't know if there is really a difference. Any person running it off of a SSD will be able to tell better. (i am using a mechanical hard drive)
so what if my windows after doing 8.1.1 gets corrupted and i want to do 8.1 again after the support is gone than what ? i woudn't get it ?
Don't worry. It won't happen. Even if it doesn, "Repairing" the windows will be heck of a lot easier, than "reinstalling" it.
Even if you reinstall, then separate ISOs for
Win8.1 Update 1 (not 8.1.1) are available.
