[h=1]The Walking Dead Casts Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Actress[/h]

Although details of Ludlow’s character role in The Walking Dead are yet to be fully revealed, AMC have confirmed that the character’s name will be Arat and the actress’ Twitter biography lists her as a “friend of Lucille”, suggesting Arat will be a Savior when she makes her debut this Sunday. Joining the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead is likely to be Ludlow’s most high-profile gig to date and although the actress isn’t a particularly recognizable face in the world of television, the AMC show has a history of taking young, lesser-known talent and coaxing convincing performances out of them, such as in the case of Tom Payne’s Jesus.
Fans of The Walking Dead comic series will already be aware that Arat is not a character that appears in the original source material and of course, it’s entirely plausible that this name is an alias designed to avoid any spoilers leaking out before the episode airs. It’s also possible that Arat is an entirely new character to the TV show with no connection to the comic book series whatsoever.
With that said, there are several characters with whom Elizabeth Ludlow shares at least a physical resemblance with and who are indeed key members of the Saviors in the comics. Arat could feasibly be Laura, a character who befriends Dwight later in the series and who harbors anti-Negan sensibilities. Alternatively, Arat could be based on a comic book Savior called Tara, a headstrong and fierce character who has little love for Rick’s group in Alexandria and given that a character named Tara already exists in the TV show, that could account for the name change to Arat. Or she could be a completely new character with no history in the comics whatsoever – either way, we’ll find out on Sunday.
The Walking Dead continues with ‘Service’ on 13th November on AMC.

The latest episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead, ‘The Cell’, may not have been as intense or action-packed as the much-discussed season opener but it did give viewers a vital insight into the inner workings of Negan’s group of survivors, The Saviors. As poor Daryl Dixon quickly discovered, Negan’s gang aren’t specialists in hospitality and any member who doesn’t completely obey their leader and his inner circle are dealt with swiftly and harshly.
So far, The Walking Dead has only focused on a select few Saviors, primarily the conflicted Dwight who loyally serves Negan despite the baseball-bat wielding lunatic both stealing his wife and giving him a facial disfigurement. Viewers also briefly saw Steven Ogg’s Simon, referred to as Negan’s ‘right hand man’ and perhaps best known for portraying the level-headed Trevor Philips in Grand Theft Auto V.
According to ComicBook however, it appears that a new member of the Saviors will be introduced in next episode ‘Service‘ and will be played by Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 actress, Elizabeth Ludlow. The young actress previously snagged a part in Guardians 2 in the thrilling sounding role of ‘Easik Mother’ – a bit-part sounding character if ever there was one – but is perhaps best known for recurring roles in television series such as Satisfaction and Powers.

AH, great episode. Negan screwing with everyone was so frustrating and satisfying at the same time. It's hard to explain. XD

I'm loving Negan so far, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan looks like he's having a blast in that role. And while Rick has been broken, you could see glimpses of his old self still lingering there. I reckon after they have made allies with other towns, the old rick will come back, and that will be a sight to see.

Poor Daryl though. Feel so bad for him.

Yeah. Things are getting interesting. With Maggie and Sasha at the Hilltop, and Carol and Morgan at The Kingdom, I'm pretty sure they'll turn them around and join forces with Alexandria. War is coming. Gonna be EPIC!! :D

Also, seeing Trevor in this show is always great. :p

Same. I was like "Wait, these two are alive?". :p

Anyway, very slow episode for me. No way did they need to spend that much time on them. Could have been done in 15 mins in my opinion, and then shift to Rick/Negan, or some other story arc.

[h=1]The Walking Dead: Jeffrey Dean Morgan Confirms Negan in Season 8[/h]

For years, The Walking Dead fans everywhere were waiting for Negan to arrive on the scene. One of the most iconic villains from the comics, the character’s shocking introduction made him unlike any of other antagonists that Rick and his crew had faced before. So far, Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s interpretation of the character has lived up to the hype.
Ever since his (full) introduction in the season 7 premiere, Morgan has maintained a strong presence on the show, from his first trip to Alexandria to his treatment of Daryl as his prisoner. While the character’s overall future in the series is still unknown, including exactly how long his reign of terror will last, it doesn’t look like Negan will be going anywhere any time soon.
During a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show (via Comicbook.com), Morgan confirmed that he will be returning as Negan in the show’s eighth season. He also added that Negan will have a large role in the next two episodes before the midseason break, after the character’s recent absence from the last two episodes:
“I know I will be on board for Season 8. We’ve finished [Season 7] a week ago.”
“The next two, I’m really big in. I’m f—ing heavy in those.”

When you consider how the comics have dealt with Negan and his prolonged role in the story, it’s not surprising to hear that his main storyline won’t be done by the time season 7 comes to an end. His visits to Alexandria only just recently began, and there’s still quite a bit of story to get through in the immediate future.
Though this can only mean bad things for the show’s main heroes, the fact that fans will get to see more of Morgan’s charismatic, scenery-chewing turn as the character should come as good news. While Negan’s control over the series has been brutal and unforgiving, there’s also no denying the excitement that will likely be felt when that control begins to be tested in some more effective ways. The Walking Dead has been slowly introducing the building blocks that will allow the other survivors to rise up against Negan and his Saviors, so while the bat-wielding villain will be around for the foreseeable future, there is a strong chance that his role will go through some dramatic changes during that time.
The Walking Dead continues next Sunday with ‘Sing Me a Song’ @9pm on AMC.

Well that is overkill, I mean it was slow, but by no means one of the worst episodes in the show's history. Also, I think people have forgotten the stupidness that went on in seasons 2 and 3, especially season 2. There are far worse episodes there. :p

Good episode. This is what I would like to see more. Multiple arcs per episode. Greatly improves the pacing. Actually am excited for next week's episode.

Mid-season finale, so there will obviously be a shitty cliffhanger, BUT I'm hoping there will be more than just that. :D

I don't know about that. BUT if it's true, then I think he might die in the mid-season finale. :p

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
