Ascension is a mini-series about a 100 year long generational trip to another world and it being the humanity's last hope.

I really liked the premise of the show. And it could have been an awesome mini-series, but the poor execution blew it all.

The characters and acting wasn't good for the most part, the flow of the story was so so and they made it happen like it was a proper series and not a mini-series, which resulted in even more detachment.

The CGI was great for a series, and there was some stuff that I really digged.

The main twist that it was all an experiment was awesome.


It's an ok mini-series at best.

is season 5 worth watching? i read that morgan becomes the intersect LOL

You should definitely do that. I didn't like the Pilot myself when I watched it but since I didn't have anything better I just went and watched another couple of episodes and the show picked the pace after on.
The 100 has relatively new and inexperienced cast. Acting may not seem good in first couple of episodes then it gets much much better. Its on the best TV shows right now being aired on CW. Definitely much much better than Arrow as of right now. Season 2 finale was great. Give the show another try.
