Well as long as I can remember, I have seen and heard weird things. I take these things as normal as I believe these "things" exist. So whenever a door suddenly closes or I see a shadow or hear a weird noise next to my ear - I don't shit my pants.

Dear brothers, let me share one more paranormal incident with you guys.

My uncle's father house had a wooden cover that had a stair case leading to some unknown place. Only his father, managed to go down but when he came back, he died of heart attack a few minutes later. After that a few people tried to enter it, to check it out. But after climbing a few stair they would come back saying that it's too scary we can't go down. So, they just closed this opening.

2 years back my uncle decided to demolish the building and make a new one. To his surprise, the construction worker managed to find the opening. My uncle got hold of this guy, who thought he was very brave and acted as if he was a don, he went a few steps down the opening and begin shouting and literally crying to pull him up, as if he was paralyzed. After seeing him no one had the guts to go down the stair case. Finally my uncle shut it down again.

once i was watching The Exorcist , i was watching with lights off and with headphones , while watching the movie suddenly the mirror in my attached washroom fell i was soo freaked out i stopped watching the movie , turned off my computer and went away from that room

This happens with me quite often. While I'm sleeping, sometimes I feel like I've dropped from a small height and then I wake up. My body kinda jumps while sleeping maybe. Not scary, but ruins my sleep

The most bizarre Paranormal thing I have ever seen in life are the people who wear sunglasses at night.

We have often heard about local myths like "Pichal Puri" and other creepy stuff. The purpose of this thread is to share such stuff and our own experience. This is supposed to be a fun(& creepy) thread and of course before someone starts calling such stuff BS, we already know about other living beings as it is clearly written in Holy Quran.

Here is a event that happened recently.

First of all, let me explain my background, our house and the location in general. We live in the outskirts of the city and this area has long been abandoned. People always claimed that it was hunted and i believe that it is true. There has been sighting of ghosts on this location and not one but multiple accounts. Anyways, this area is slowly getting populated but it is still pretty much barren and there aren't many houses.

Coming to the point, we moved to this location because my dad wanted to change houses. It was also ideal since it was near to my dad's workplace. Initially, there weren't many homes here. There were only 2 bunglows and a wall surrounding the area encompassing these bungalows. Right near our home was a big tree, it was in a pretty weird location, near the house, and no body bothered to cut it. I still believe that this tree was a strong location for paranormal creatures because of the incidents that had occurred after we moved in to that home. Most of these incidents stopped once we cut down the tree.

So in our home, we have witnessed plenty of incidents. The most obvious one that occur still and quite frequently is random noise through out the house, during the night. Like someone is knocking at the windows or the sound of utensils in the kitchen.

What happened one night recently was quite terrifying. My father is usually not at home as he got transferred to another city. He usually stays the weekdays there and returns on Friday for weekend. Anyways, one night, when my father was not at home and my mother was sleeping in her room. She suddenly found herself unable to move and started to hear noises in the room. The room was total dark as we don't usually keep even dim lights in room and so we sleep in total darkness. She was terrified of all this and this was perhaps the first time such a thing had occurred with her. Anyways, she started to recite "Ayat-ul-Kursi" in her heart while struggling to move. I don't really know long this continued but when she finally managed to move, she was terrified and turned on the light to find nothing in the room. Anyways, this also scared the sh*t out of me since i sleep alone in my room with the light off and i couldn't sleep without the lights that night .

Although probably not related but worth mentioning; during the same night, i was running our generator since there was no electricity. Loadshedding time at night is from 10 to 12 PM here. So when light returned, i went outside to turn the generator off. To my surprise, the generator shut down automatically when i was about to reach it. This also scared the crap out of me because this has never happened and besides i am the only one who shuts down generator every night. The generator had no fault at all and i checked it the next morning as well to make sure. Still, i don't know how it suddenly shut itself, especially when i was approaching it.

There are many other paranormal experience in that house that are not limited to noises as well. We have seen people in white cloth outside the main gate, late at night. The frequency of these events have slowed down though since the place is slowly getting populated now.

Some people do wear glasses at night due to medical purposes but they are usually old ones.

There are many ways. I'll summarize it.
Lay down perfectly still and straight. Better if you're tired.
Close your eyes and DON'T move. Keep all thoughts out of the head. Do NOT think about anything. Focus on your breathing, heartbeat, or the darkness.
But do NOT think of anything.
You'll probably face an itch or an urge. You MUST ignore that.
Soon, you'll feel your body is asleep but your brain is awake. Do NOT move.

Now, from here, you have two choices; Open your eyes and creep the hell out of yourself by facing sleep paralysis. Your brain will will create monsters and other spooky stuff. Don't worry, they won't harm since YOU created them.

OR you could keep your eyes closed and think of a place and come up with your own dream and control your dream to do whatever you want like flying, talking to yourself etc.

There is a third option where you 'leave' your body and walk around in the real world; an "Out-of-body" experience which is still an unsolved mystery. Many awesome things have been done with this.

I suggest you read more about lucid dreaming.

Allowed in Islam? I don't think religion has anything to do with this. Besides, mine is dream-initiated which means I'm not the one who initiates it. It happens on its own. It's like having consciousness that you're dreaming and you can gain control over your dream for some time.

am totally agreed happens with me. many times i gain consciousness in the dreams , lolx i remember ek bar tu when i access control over my dream i create reasegan , and one more time i was jumping like a hulk

Yeah, it's very unstable at first. You're just bursting with excitement that you can change this dream into ANYTHING, that you lose control. Trust me, this has happened a lot. :/

A little tip to get control more frequently of dreams (when you didn't plan it). Look at your hands every day to see that you have 5 fingers. If it becomes a habit, you'll do that IN the dreams as well. And in dreams, you NEVER have 5 fingers. That is how first got control of my dream. I remembered INSIDE the dream that if you have more fingers, then you're dreaming.

And voila it worked. But the dream ended as I got excited

This Lucid Dreaming sounds too good to be true. Any idea how long would I have to lay down before being "elevated". People here liked inception alot. -.-
