We have often heard about local myths like "Pichal Puri" and other creepy stuff. The purpose of this thread is to share such stuff and our own experience. This is supposed to be a fun(& creepy) thread and of course before someone starts calling such stuff BS, we already know about other living beings as it is clearly written in Holy Quran.

Here is a event that happened recently.

First of all, let me explain my background, our house and the location in general. We live in the outskirts of the city and this area has long been abandoned. People always claimed that it was hunted and i believe that it is true. There has been sighting of ghosts on this location and not one but multiple accounts. Anyways, this area is slowly getting populated but it is still pretty much barren and there aren't many houses.

Coming to the point, we moved to this location because my dad wanted to change houses. It was also ideal since it was near to my dad's workplace. Initially, there weren't many homes here. There were only 2 bunglows and a wall surrounding the area encompassing these bungalows. Right near our home was a big tree, it was in a pretty weird location, near the house, and no body bothered to cut it. I still believe that this tree was a strong location for paranormal creatures because of the incidents that had occurred after we moved in to that home. Most of these incidents stopped once we cut down the tree.

So in our home, we have witnessed plenty of incidents. The most obvious one that occur still and quite frequently is random noise through out the house, during the night. Like someone is knocking at the windows or the sound of utensils in the kitchen.

What happened one night recently was quite terrifying. My father is usually not at home as he got transferred to another city. He usually stays the weekdays there and returns on Friday for weekend. Anyways, one night, when my father was not at home and my mother was sleeping in her room. She suddenly found herself unable to move and started to hear noises in the room. The room was total dark as we don't usually keep even dim lights in room and so we sleep in total darkness. She was terrified of all this and this was perhaps the first time such a thing had occurred with her. Anyways, she started to recite "Ayat-ul-Kursi" in her heart while struggling to move. I don't really know long this continued but when she finally managed to move, she was terrified and turned on the light to find nothing in the room. Anyways, this also scared the sh*t out of me since i sleep alone in my room with the light off and i couldn't sleep without the lights that night :p.

Although probably not related but worth mentioning; during the same night, i was running our generator since there was no electricity. Loadshedding time at night is from 10 to 12 PM here. So when light returned, i went outside to turn the generator off. To my surprise, the generator shut down automatically when i was about to reach it. This also scared the crap out of me because this has never happened and besides i am the only one who shuts down generator every night. The generator had no fault at all and i checked it the next morning as well to make sure. Still, i don't know how it suddenly shut itself, especially when i was approaching it.

There are many other paranormal experience in that house that are not limited to noises as well. We have seen people in white cloth outside the main gate, late at night. The frequency of these events have slowed down though since the place is slowly getting populated now.

Dear brothers let me share a personal paranormal incident.

Once when we went for umrah, me and my cousin were going to perform ablution (wudu). On our way we saw an old man lying on the floor, his head resting on his hand and the other one holding a cigarette. He is wearing a white shirt and blue & white checkered dhoti. We notice that he has one blue and one green slipper on. Obviously we start talking about him and laughing.

After we performed ablution, we noticed the same old man around half a kilometer away from us. I point out the old man to my cousin and we again start making fun of him. All of a sudden his head turns towards us in a quick motion and before you know it his breath can be felt on my face. The first thing I notice about his face is that he has a blue and green eye! Yes the same colors as his slippers. He then turned his attention towards my cousin and takes two steps forward, my cousin obviously scared to death, takes two steps back. The old man then raises his hands and shakes it, as if giving his blessings and turns back to be never seen again.

He was obviously a Jin, as they are in abundance in Haram.

Not all jinns are bad. Like not all humans are bad either. :)

Sleep paralysis.

The random noises you heard maybe due to the strong gush of air that moves in barren places like you mentioned. These kind of random sounds are not audible in crowded places but enhanced in deserted area.

Dear brothers it might have been sleep paralysis but the paranormal incident I am about to tell you might change your mind.

My mother and her sister were playing in a park in Islamabad long time a go. They got separated from the family, as children tend to do, exploring the park. My mother starts teasing her sister and yells loudly in the park " Hei koi churail jo meri dost bane? hei koi churail jo meri dost bane?". Nothing out of the ordinary happened that instant but things were about to get scary that night.

Our family returns home and everyone sleeps at 10pm sharp. Then at around 12am my mother starts hearing laughing sounds, the bathroom door begins to slam, my mother is overwhelmed by fear and can't move a muscle to awaken her mother sleeping right beside her. Finally the noises stop and everything is back to normal. My mother explained all the details to her father and mother, they just ignore the incident and tell her that it's your imagination.

Second day, again at 12am the bathroom door begins to slam, my mother hears both crying and laughing sounds. Once again she is unable to move and wake here mother. The holiday is over and the family returns to Lahore. My mother thinks that finally she will be able to sleep in peace.

12 am, my mother and her sister are sleeping in a separate room. Suddenly the noises are back again. Her sister is too scared to sleep with my mom anymore and she complains to father. Finally, parents take notice of this and take her to a relative who is pretty knowledgeable in this field. He asks the parents to check their daughters neck, they do and find a taveez in her neck. Upon inquiring they find out that my mother had copied a taveez from her gradmothers diary and wore around her neck for quite some time.

The relatives tell the parents that had she not done this, it would have been a lot more than just noises. They just tried to disturb her and not harm her. Finally he got rid of those churails from disturbing my mother.

It might be Sleep Paralysis indeed but we have experienced other sh*t in this house. Like random sightings of Snakes, people in white cloth by multiple eye witness and other crazy sh*t like that.

When we newly moved to this house. One day, mother was alone at home and in Kitchen when she heard some kid crying behind her. She turned to see who it was but to her surprise, there was no one there.

Most of the stuff used to happen often when we had that creepy tree near our home. Once it was cut down, things calmed down a bit.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
