just came back from watching it in cinestar. It is a one man army show and done very well. There are no suprises or incredible story etc. but the action is great and the thrill is good . I hadn't heard of the movie till today and then decided to watch it over OZ, thank God. Gerard butler was good and the main ass kicker ex- special forces guy who was close with the president and came to his rescue when the white house fell(the terrorists really raped everyone while taking over the white hour). Morgan freeman also had a lot of screen time but i think he was there just to increase the star value and didn't do anything special. All in all, a great one-man-army show. 7/10 from my side

Olympus seemed way more racist than any movie on market recently :lol:

I mean Asians seem to be the villain while we are also seeing Taliban type of militants. At least, that was the general impression from the trailer.

Supernatural fans will the movie, the protagonist is potrayed a lot like Dean in Supernatural. Regardless I felt Keanu Revees acting was a bit emotionless. Although he managed to pull it off though. The movie is a good popcorn flick.

Im absolutely LOVING how Hollywoods squirming and muffling their squeals of confusion in their movies when it comes to showing the 'Big Bads' of the modern world. SURE theres north korea and SURE theres the taliban fundos and yeah Pakistan may be nuked here and there (telling just what their execs have wet dreams abt!)...

But thats all soo low-tech and petite bourgeois even they feel unsatisfied. Remember how they changed the whole goddamn Red Dawn remake just to remove one particular country that was the bad guy? L.O.L.

Im wondering if someone in Hollywood had gotten a call from Shanghai saying how their billions would be frozen if they show some crap abt their country! :tv:

This one was a brilliant film all around, great story, great acting and fantastic music, the subject of the film might be considered a bit taboo but it's not really a problem for hardcore people such as myself.:tv:

Now there's one question I must ask about the ending:

WHen Oh Dae Su tells the hypnotist to remove his memories, he mean the memories that of what he witnessed in the penthouse of the building where the last part of the movie took place right? Which means that he will forget that the girl was his daughter and he'll probably keep having sex with her in the future until they eventually find out that they're related.Did I get that right?

and they blame northkoreans for propaganda campaign news channel against americans , while Hollywood is doing that for ages against first iraqis , then taliban (pak , jordan ,saudia etc) now iran and north korea sells most ,since laden is dead

Movies depend so much on these things , in 70's-90's alien shit was so hot , UFO spotting etc which lead to so many sci fi alien stuff and movies , and then old school Japan with lot of horror stories that died to cause tokyo is more sky rise now , zombie shit is little hot , recently some guy went ape shit in america thrugh drugs and ate alive person . Events needs to happen to inspire and create stories for movies , i will trade any thing i have for alien contact shiz happening in my life

Indiana jones and the temple of doom: Overall a nice movie, but not up to the mark. The other two are much better (Not counting the crystal skull). 7/10

Just watched The Others (2001)....the ending is just amazing. Brilliantly shot horror flick that scares you without any gore, excessive makeup or pyrotechnics.

Dr Zhivago: this movie will never get old, ,watched it 10 years back but still refreshing, often imitated never bettered kinda movie

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
