Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Love it how no time is wasted in Origins BS. Respect for keeping the coherence from
Civil War.
Tom Holland isn't so bad. Best part ... IronMan-ed Spidey Suit lol.
'Enchanced combat mode', 'Recon drone', 'Karen' ... yes it makes sense as it's coming from Iron Man himself. BUT, this pretty much tripled the fun. Also a well needed element to show how Spidey is not 'his suit' but himself. I don't have a problem with action pieces, but some aren't particularly 'innovated', as '
Elevator' or '
Cargo ship' scenes show. Replicating the
iconic kissing scene, '
actually saving the girl from falling elevator', or '
holding together cut in half ship with web' ... it was almost like a humorous mocking. But hey, everything is fair in love and war ... in movies.
Birdman playing
Birdman ... not sure what to say, but i'm happy I didn't get any Birdman or even Batman vibe here. How did
Keaton do that? I am shocked. Plus, every time he said '
Pedro', '
Pedro Rap' flashed through my mind from
Rio (2011) haha. And boy was it nice to see
Happy and
Pots.
It's ironic when a Marvel 'Action' movie deliveries more comedy than any other comedy movie :S Because i had some good laughs and giggles with this one. Great ending, peachy performances, fun no-BS plot. Just when you think it can't get any better, and BAMM, in your face. It's awesome. Massive entertainment.
8/10.
