PORTABLE Price Drop For Iphones ??

I was thinking that wouldn't there be a price Drop Because Of the release of the iPhone 4s .. I was planing to buy a 3Gs or a iPhone 4 ??

I predict the major price drop will only occur for used 3gs or 3g, not tht much for 4g.

So why would the launch of 4S would affect the prices of any existing iPhones?

3GS can be found for 19-20k ... not a big deal. But can you find one in immaculate condition for THAT good price? NO
A 3GS in scratchless condition (if any is left now) still costs upto 24k in market. Galaxy S with 2-3k difference, remains at a higher level.

Prices do not vary with release of new smartphones. Its the Demand & Supply rule which affects the price.

iPhone4S does not provide enough solid reasons for people to upgrade from their existing iPhone4. Which means iPhone4 wont be selling much, hence near to no affect on price.
So 3G(S) may not get affected by the release of 4S. But this may change within a duration of 3-4 months.

1. That 8GB iPhone is not 4s, it's 4.
2. The price you are mentioning is with contract. iPhone 4 8GB without contract is for 549 Canadian Dollars.
