OK so yesterday I popped in a few more games for a little while each, just to check if they all work etc
.. here's some brief snippets of what I encountered.
Killzone 2: Damn you Dualshock 3, I'm just not getting used to it
.. need more time I suppose, but the stick response feels laggy, and had to bump up the sensitivity high because the default is just too low, also freaking dead zones, now i know what people meant when they said KZ had bad controls
Uncharted 1: That spinning symbol just keeps spinning off the External drive, fortunately the game works perfectly fine on the Internal. The cut-scenes look nice, the core game itself could have used some anti aliasing though. Will play more of this later.
Yakuza 3: I just copied this and tried to run, unfortunately each time a new game is ran, it needs to "verify data" on multiman, which can take a long time if its a game with a lot of small files. So, I'll try this some other time
Tales of Xillia: It doesn't look anywhere near as pretty as Vesperia did, though I imagine it's because this is the first tales game with 360* environments and not statis 'god of war' like fixed angles.
God of War Collection Vol 2: This is the one with the PSP games, the first one looks like ass, the second one scales very nicely though.
The first game (after FFXII
) i'll play is probably Uncharted 1, since I need to play some easy shooters to get acquainted to the DS3's analog sticks.

edit: For KZ2 I know they put out a patch that fixed most of the lag, I did download the 100MB update to the game, but havne't had the chance to play again after the patch, so can't comment on how different the controls are gonna be. Will post with impressions later.
