If anyone is considering JVC headphones, look into the HA-RX700. Definitely the best headphones from JVC in the below $50 price range. People compare these headphones to high-end Senheissers, AKGs and Beyers.

I'm using them and I have nothing but good words to say about these. The sound on these is unbelievable, the lows, mids and highs all sound great and don't interfere with one another. Only thing is that you have to have a decent source in order to get the most out of these cans.

Hey Anurin, I need some Headset suggestions. Since, u have a lot of experience with them I thought I'd ask for your wisdom. I'm looking for a good wireless headset for my PS3, I am thinking of buying the official PS3 headset which is coming out soon but they seem a bit to expensive so if u could recommend me a good wireless headset for my PS3 that would be great.

They should play background noises as well, i dont want to hear my friends blabber only :D

Haha, thank you, thank you. Well, it'd be nice to start out with a budget. How much are you willing to spend? If you look back, I'm sure I gave a guy advice on a gaming setup for a console somewhere in this thread.

Guys i am about t buy following headphones
http://av.jvc.com/product.jsp?pathId=112&modelId=MODL028042&page=1

Are they good in the range of 2-2.5k ?
or should i for look for something else

I was thinking about getting
A4tech HU-510
as its 5.1 and uSB, i need headphones to watch movies and play games
i don't like to listen music through headphones
Which one should i get ?
The HU-510 will break and/or stop working over a very short period. Their durability is like 2/10.

I suggest you go with the JVC ones. or you may even consider

Sennheiser HD 180 for 3k. (http://www.vmart.pk/sennheiser-hd-180-headphones-pakistan.html)

Woah,

I came here to start a thread about headphone advice and I find gold :D

Guys I need help on buying some new in-ear headphones

Budget: 5-6K
Required: In-Ear headphone
Highly Recomended to have: carry case/pouch - good durability for daily transport in pockets
Plus point: Mic and ipod control
Usage: Music on iPhone
Purchasable: Anything that can be found or shipped to Lahore

I currently have the headphones that came with my w810 http://cdn2.iofferphoto.com/img/item/170/468/621/7kW1.jpg - they sound very good but I'm looking for something better. Also I use the Panasonic RP-HT376 on my PC.

The other day I checked out the Beats by Dr.Dre Tour. I was kinda impressed with the sound (costed around 5K). After doing some online reasearch, it came out that its hard to find originals in US let alone PK. Turns out the one I tested were fake (though they sounded good)

So what do u guys recommend me to get - I have my eyes on the JVC HA-FX300 (a guy on PG is selling them) or the Sennheiser CX300 II

I'm open for all suggestions as long as they are available in PK.

BTW - I hear the best way to tell if the headphones are good without listening to them is checking the FREQUENCY RESPONSE. The higher the range the better the sound. True?

Haha, you'll die of laziness, dude. Well, for that budget, go for Audio Technica AD700. Excellent for gaming. They're not wireless, but then, no good pair of headphones is. You'll have to compromise.

What kind of music do you listen to? And how important is isolation for you? Do you need bass heavy headphones?
And the Beats aren't good for their price. They're way over priced. And as for your question, no. You cant tell by the frequency response. You can't tell by any of the specs. To find out if headphones are good or not, you'll have to listen to them.

I listen to trance a lot. So deep good bass is something I'm looking for.

Isolation is not a major concern to me but can be a plus

It kinda sucks that u can't really tell how good the headphones are without actually listening to them! 

I have a crappy old TV (Not HD or Flat Screen) and a FAT 80GB PS3, I have connected it to my PS3 with AV component wires (You know? the Red-White-Yellow Cables) So can anyone plz tell me how i can connect my Headset to a PS3 to hear all the background noise and online chat? Also, These headphones dont have a mic, i want a mic with the headphones

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
