Guys I also need headphones:

Purpose: Watching Movies and playing games on computers
Budget: 7k
Quality: The headphones should be over-ear and they should have crisp and good quality sound so that i can have an edge over my opponents:rock:
My choices: Razer Carcharias, Roccat Kave(although i'll have difficulty getting them),Corsair Hs1U

Please advise me some good headphones for me:wink2:

Out of the ones you have mentioned I believe Roccat Kave is the best one. Rather than the HS-1U it would better to get the normal analog version and get sound card to go with it for better result.

90% of the time, the built-in one is not even close to even some of the cheap sound cards. The difference in using headphonrs especially with a dedicated sound card and built in one is very very much different. The cost for you remains almost same, 5.5k for headphones and around 1.5k for sound card (SB0460 or SB0670 are within your range)

With the roccat one would i be needing a sound card??
I dunno about Roccat Kave. Check the net for reviews with sound cards. Although if you can increase your budget a little, I suggest going for Logitech G35. Its USB but much better than these headsets.

Just got a FiiO E5 headphone amp for 20$ from ebay for my Galaxy S2. Wow this thing has surely made a difference!
Are they any good? Im also looking to buy a DAC/amp ( dunno if a DAC would be overkill, not aware of the difference much ) and a good pair of headphones. But i cant find any good reviews for the E5.

Using Beats Pros right now, and im not really digging the over the top bass.

i used to play .. on an A4tech headphones .. which are kinda good for me atm..
A4tech headphones are also good in their price range but they just arent that sturdy enough..I have bought three A4tech headphones out of which two of them had their wire broken and the other broke in two halves..

The E5 is good. Fiio just updated it, and the new versions called E6. Dunno if it'd benefit your headphones much though.

im planning to get a better pair, maybe senn 600/650, and i dont think the e5 is worth it.

also found some reviews on the NuForce Icon uDac-2. Looking good.

In case of headsets, I do not prefer to spend a lot. To me, these items are like disposable products. They typically do not last very long.

I have major experience with Somic and A4Tech headsets.

From the A4Tech, I prefer HS-60, HS-200 and HD-200 headsets. These are durable and give good performance.

However, since I have got a great sound card; I have decided to complement it with something better then average.

I have ordered Sennheiser HD 202 headset. I have heard good things about it.

Okay. I'll need a few questions answered first. What artists do you mainly listen to? Do you want the headphones for home listening or do you want them to be portable? Do you want open back or close back? Do you prefer a bass heavy sound signature, more towards the bright side or a neutral one?
And no problem man. You're welcome. Always happy to help. :)
I usually listen to Led Zepellin, pink floyd, radiohead, BFMV, Within Tempation, Metallica, Coldplay etc . In terms of genre, I would say classic rock, alt. rock and metal. Need them for home use, over the ears. I prefer accurate sound reproduction so I would go for neutral sound sig. Ability to hook them up with my tv would be a plus.

Oh, yea, definitely. If you're getting a Senn 6xx, then the E5 won't be any use to you. And the NuForce won't be good enough either. You'll need to spend atleast 200 bucks or so on your amp/dac, and thats just entry level.

Hmmm, I'd suggest Grados to you, seeing your music preferences, but if you want a neutral-ish signature, then go for HD595. They're good for gaming and movies too, and when it comes to music, they can handle all genres. Very, very comfortable and the sound isn't fatiguing either. And best of all, you don't need an amp for them, although one would greatly improve it's quality. I'm not sure about the tv part though.

from where did u ordered that and for how much cost??

If you wanna buy Senns here, I suggest you get them from the authorised dealer. Not necessary, but my preference.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
