Have Pakgamers Improved With Time.

Well I am on this forum from more than 5 year's. And Literally there is no gaming forum in Pakistan even close to Pakgamers and I have introduced alot of gaming people to this place BUT from last 5 year's I havnt seen that much improvement in this forum. Well there are some other's forum that have grown to level BEAST likes of Pakwheels, siasat.pk etc. most of them are mostly active on social media and have grown some fan support there as well. they go to universities advertisement etc etc.

For me Pakgamers is still same as it was in 2011. No improvement's.

No improvement. Lost a lot of good users. There was a time that every section was flooded with new posts and replies.

I'd say it did. It was uber fun back in the day when all the old guys were around and all, but everyone's gotta move on. PG moved on just fine and the new members have been pretty great I think. Gaming discussions have died down a bit. But its still pretty great overall. Everyone's missing the old PG these days, I guess if you miss it that much then work with others to make it just as good, if not better.

No offense, but this language is also one of the reason. Previously use of such bad language leads towards a ban if my memory is working fine.

i have been here for past 2 yrs but active for last 1 yr only i see some improvements but obviously cant compare it with old days
one thing i have seen is: marketplace has grown in a good way

I miss the old days, came here 6 years back. But cant complain as I really like the idea of this whole forum and most importantly blind trust.
PS: I dont know about very now, but up til few months back, moderation, although I dont want to say, sucked big time, too strict. (Other than Marketplace, especially chit chat zone's)

those other forums you mentioned employed full time paid members and made it into a business.PG used to serve a niche back then and it still does the same. People who left PG simply outgrew the demographic PakGamers caters to. Pg is for 14-28 year old mostly and so people will come and go.

What do you mean by improvement anyway? If you mean having a fun environment.., well people aged, they moved on. Its your turn now to make it a fun environment. I personally have a good chat with some users here.
If you meant about less people chatting about gaming, well i think like it happened with me.., PC gaming lost the charm for me so it's possible it has for others too. 6-7 years back was a good era for games. So i guess more people were active then they are now. Not to mention nanow is pretty active now with his One Media Gaming thingy.. so i think the interest is there, we just don't have the public to support it.

'I think when I was leaving I tried to shift a bit more towards this policy..maintaining a balance between "shugal" and hurtful is a difficult..its a fine line.
The thing is respecting mods and their decision is vital..when mods come and try to separate the fun/hurtful , people need to trust them a bit more that
they arent doing this out of personal grudges but their experience and fairness.

PG is still good, but back in the day we had actual heated discussions on games/consoles/companies. Maybe it's still the same but I don't participate.. but I doubt that's the case. Radd, Chandoo, CT, DCMD, Shyber etc..
