My gut concurs with yours, but I am doubtful that Benzema will be able to convert the midfield's hard work into goals. The French forwards (barring Valbuena) is their weakest link. Valbuena and Matuidi will have to work some magic and Pogba will have to not be so wasteful.

But statistically speaking, France has better odds of going through since they have made it to the finals most of the time during the last 4 world cups. Neuer saving a very lacklustre german team.... on another day, it could have been a 2-1 victory for France.... There looked to be a quite strong penalty shout in the first half, where Schweinsteiger judo-tackled Greizmann off the ball... germany produced no real chances till France began pushing and Schurrle missed two sitters.... all in all, germany nowhere near impressive... the winner of Brazil/Colombia match can very well rip this german team apart
