The need for the flashback was so you could understand why Shirou would put himself in harms way, atleast that's what I think it was meant for.
Glad we could get some Shirou/Rin and Rider action.

saving Rin from the blow it makes more sense. It wouldn't make much sense for your enemy that you were just having a death-match with, put their life and limb at risk for your safety.

Very enjoyable episode, pacing was a lot better than the others. Liked the ambient music that was a little more prominent in this episode. Liked how well they tackled the transition from scene to scene.

Bloody Friggin' Assassin.

Really hyped for the continuation of the fight scene. Expecting a lot of swift swordplay and even swifter one-liners.

Stuff is heating up. Assassin v Saber was great, random farmer dude who hates swallows is a better swordsman than Saber.

Archer rekking everything was great too, can't wait for next week and more Rider. ^_^

Welp, I got my fix of Assassin action. Definitely satisfied with how the fight played out and how chill he was with the entire thing. And of course, watching Saber tumble is always a delight.

The anime is finally picking up the pace and going somewhere.

This was a great episode. Archer and Assassin kicked shit up. It looks like Saber and Shirou are only in this anime to get their asses handed to them or to show off how strong other servants are. Also, I forgot how retarded Saber was.

The hints are pretty strong and basically transparent, but still I'd prefer if there was no spoiling in the thread.

It's pretty amazing, the animation and OST is top notch. All the characters are great.

Only thing that's lacking is Shirou not having any inner monologue, which dampens his character considerably, makes him seem stupid.
