Ufotable has outdone itself once again, had to watch this twice just to squeeze all the little details out of it. The fight was spectacularly choreographed and highly satisfying even if it was a bit too airborne for my taste. Got equally pumped by the fight music, some nice remixes and original tracks all around.


Really loved the way Berserker was more fluid and agile this time around instead of just being a tank. The Rin vs Ilya fight was a nice touch aswell, especially the appeasing way they animated the entire scene. Given how well this episode played out, I'm genuinely hyped for the latter fight scenes. :D

Episode 3 was great. Amazing animation and fight scenes.

Berserker went all break dance style on Saber. It was pretty hype. I'm rooting for Illya/Berserker now.

I'm missing Kiritsugu. IMO he was the most badass character of the series. Has saber realized that emiyo was raised by his ex master? She certainly remembered ilya.

She noticed it but it it wasn't clear to me if she realized it or not. Well today's episode cleared that doubt because they were talking about Kiritsugu in front of her.

Somewhat.

In the VN, Shirou was the lead in every route obviously. But here we can expect a split perspective between Saber/Shirou and Rin/Archer, with slightly more focus on the former.

the episode was very nice i liked it... ofcorse not every episode is gona hve brainless fighting ... gettin to know the characters and the world around them is part of the experience for people..... anime is gng gr8 and wll get even better as it progressess

Another one of these episodes. I guess it's impossible to not get these kinds of episodes once in a while. But man do they feel out of place. Ufotable should have just made their own version of F/SN without all the trope crap. At least this time it seemed more tame, it wasn't as cringeworthy as it was in the early episode.

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
