Am just in the start hence my curiosity and interest outweigh my dislikes.

playing it ON PC, sometimes the game just jams during cutscenes or even in gameplay ! running utorrent etc stuff in BG could that be the issue ? happens for 2-5 seconds, i can hear sounds etc but the screen jams !

try to lower the settings and make sure your GPU drivers are up to date.
On the other hand,finished the game and it left me wanting more,was it just me or was the game a bit short?
Whatever the case,i absolutely loved it,the gameplay,dialogue,art style specially,everything was amazing. Would love to play again sometime. And i only noticed near the end about the option to change dante's appearance,nice touch.

And are you sure the drivers are for your card? I mean your GPU is quite old and has been known to have problems plus all the latest drivers are for 7xxx series and some for 6xxx.... And dont use the beta drivers,they always have problems.
As for the installation error,un-install each and every previous GPU driver (you know ATI and Nvidia installs 3-4 different things),your PC will restart several times probably and then reinstall the drivers again.I was getting the same problem with with my current GPU and after un-installing all the previous drivers it got solved.Hasnt happened since either.
The problem isnt with the game,its with your system.
If this doesnt help,try installing a fresh copy of windows. And if it stays after that,UPGRADE!!!

well i just asked around on guru3d and the advice i got from there is that the legacy driver im trying to install isn't compaitible with xp sp3
so going to find a compatible driver with my xp OS

Ended the game, it was quite good hack n slash, the new dante seriously impressed me no doubt mainly because it had a good voice actor.
The story was Ok not that bad etc. there were not many but quality characters in there. besides dante, mundus's character was awesome aswell !
whole game kinda felt a bit short and there wasn't that kind of a challenge which the previous DEVIL MAY CRY game ! it's too toned down for the sissy gamers IMO, i mean playing on devil hunter was like super easy mode of the original Devil may cry if comparing.
haven't tried other modes because played it on PC and it was a good experience ( reserving the other for ps3 version ). Ninja theory did aweosme in the graphics department no doubt artwork was brilliant.
this reboot of sorts wasn't quite necessary but GOOD enough they pulled it out V.GOOD
Boss fights were not that hard aswell but they were nice, main combo factor was good to got a bit of getting used to because of the LT RT thingie, got confused a bit at times but than got the hang of it and i could easily Do A'S AND S's easy ! with a group of 4-6 enemis SS AND SSS were a breeze. didn't even had to upgrade anything but still did it by the 12th mission etc just to have some more fun and combos were damn easy by than. so if comparing to the older one this game is a breeze and toned down difficulty...
never the less this game deserves a shot to be played at ! VERY GOOD INDEED !

So I started playing it today at 1pm and completed it by 9pm. It hardly took me 7 hours to finish it on the nephilim mode (2 hours of load shedding excluded). I am disappointed. The son of sparda mode is ok. Overall the game is just ok. they have ruined DMC too just like RE :crying:

Yes, Bloody Palace used to come with Devil May Cry out of the box as standard, but now it'll be heading to DmC as a free download, and it'll be available from next week, Capcom has confirmed.
Adding the arena-based challenge mode, the add-on will boast more than 100 levels to survive, with waves of demons to chop up and bosses to kill in as quick a time as possible.
Bloody Palace mode will be available for DmC: Devil May Cry from February 20th and can be accessed upon completing the main campaign. It'll also have global leaderboard support. Check out our DmC review for our verdict on Dante's reboot.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
