Hey,guys my PC takes a long beep,and then restarts and my screen doesnt even work when this happens,all u can hear is windows starting,you can even operate it without the screen.What do i do?

Atleast try taking out one ram and see if any difference.

Try This.

Start the game and than press alt-ctrl-delete and open windows task manager and right-click the process: BlackOps and set the priority to low thats helps for people with multi core processors.

In case you want this priority setting to be remembered every time you start black Ops you need right click on the shortcut and change the target to this

Call Of Duty: Black Ops gets new PC patch

The PC version of Call Of Duty: Black Ops has been given its second patch via Steam - with improvements made to both the multiplayer and the campaign.

The update brings some CPU performance tweaks to the game, as well as fixes for matchmaking.


According to Steam, improvements to the multiplayer include:

- CPU performance improvements
- Server browser bug fixes and tweaks to populate faster and do full refresh less often
- Fixed crash when viewing leaderboards if player has more than 99 friends
- Fix for locked ADS after pressing shift-TAB to bring up Steam overlay
- Fix for ADS while holding shift as a sniper

Other 'major changes' include:

- Zombie matchmaking improvements
- Fix for locked ADS after pressing shift-TAB to bring up Steam overlay

How do you get Zombie to work on Skidrow version. I know it works because I played it when it automatically started after I ended the campaign. But after I completed one game I cant get it to run again from the main menu. Somebody please help me out

i install the 23mb patch and update it..............nw game is working fine no lagg ........... bt sound issue still occurs as cant hear sound in game whle in mission. playing in mute.........what shud i do also do installd the directX.

The performance is bullshit, low fps, no matter what graphics settings I keep, It gives the same low fps even at lowest settings. What I feel is game developers are eating money from ATI and Nvidia to keep requirements high in new games even though the game is bogus. The same happened with block ops.

Apply the patch, i certainly does increase the in game fps and removes the shuttering issues
