The dull-witted decisions made by imran khan and his party has been a setback for this whole movement, azadi march and inqilaab march combined. Especially the mismanagement by the the PTI in this Azadi March has led its supporters to question the credibility and capability of Imran Khan as a Prime Minister of a country. I mean managing a long March is one thing at which he seems to failing, but managing the whole country and running its system is just another story at which he would definitely fail again if he continues to respond to situations like he has done in Azadi March.
Tahir ul Qadri on the other hand, whom everyone underestimated, and whose inqilaab march is currently being shrouded by the mockery of the Azadi March in electronic and social media, is actually hitting each nail in the right spot. From the beginning of this whole March thing, this guy has remained so disciplined, not even a single time he has lost control of its people, lost control of his words, lost control of his decisions or has gone back on his words. Everything on the PAT's platform is so well-managed and on-time. On contrary to what Imran Khan wants (which obviously became his personal vandetta after he said to Badami of ARY "AGAR...Nawaz Sharif resign de aur Chaudary Nisar ajaye tau baat ho skti hai.."like...WTF! Imran?) TUQ is 100% clear on his demands. He has clear evidences, he wants the justice to be served against the murder of 14 people by putting Sharif along with other 18 or 19 people in Jail. It has been 63 days now, and the government won't even let them to register their FIR, even when the Lahor High Court said to do so.
It is sad to see that people posting here and supporting the PML-n blindly don't even understand that this is the chance to do things right. People think that these protests will destroy the democracy in this state which is not the truth. This is actually a chance to cleanse the system. This is a chance to make law and justice served equally to the rich and poor of this country. You should not forget that out of those 14 people brutally murdered in the streets could have been your blood relatives too. Or this could happen to any of us here. What would we do? how would we feel? if some feudal Lord's son murders our brother or son and we won't even be able to register a FIR against the murderers.
The current Democracy in Pakistan is an offspring of what is being currently implemented in Britain. One should know that it took almost 200 years for democracy to become what it is in Britain, after years and years of amendments depending upon their culture and traditions and their requirements. And... and Pakistan is only 67 years old for God's sake! How could one believe that 67 Years are enough to mend this democracy entirely according to our culture, traditions etc.. not to forget the traditions and cultures in pakistan are far more diverse than they are in Britain. Long story short, this democracy is alien to us for now. It needs to be amended at all costs otherwise the next generations will suffer and remain oppressed by current ruling families.
Imran Khan had the chance of his life and he made a lot of wrong decisions and he is losing it. For Dr. Tahir we still have hopes. I pray that the system changes, I pray that the rich and poor in this country become equal, unbiased of their caste or creed in the courts of Pakistan.
Hope still remains.
