[h=1]Arrowverse Showrunner Promises ‘Fun’ Damien Darhk Return[/h]

Legends of Tomorrow will be bringing back Damien Darhk in season 3, but it won’t be the same version of the villain who menaced the team in season 2. The show’s time travel shenanigans will allow for something of a fresh start for Dahrk.
Damien Darhk was part of Legends of Tomorrow’s iteration of the supervillain group the Legion of Doom in season 2 alongside Eobard Thawne and Malcolm Meryln. Plucked from the timeline by Eobard Thawne before his death in the Arrow season 4 finale, Darhk faced off against the Legends in its vastly improved second season. Part of the show’s sophomore leap in quality had to do with Darhk and his cohorts providing a legitimately menacing threat to the team, whereas season 1’s Vandal Savage largely fell flat. And while Darhk was returned to his rightful place in the timeline at the conclusion of Legends’ second season, we haven’t seen the last of the wild eyed villain.
While discussing the show at this week’s Television Critics Association, series producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed Darhk is returning to Legends of Tomorrow this season, but it will be a version of the character after his death on Arrow.
“[Legends of Tomorrow season 3] is a different Damien Darhk than the one you saw last year. This is the post-Arrow season 4. We pick up after he’s been killed. We have a fun way to bring him back.”

Part of the fun of Legends of Tomorrow is the absolutely bonkers glee with which it embraces the narrative possibilities of time travel. The show has occasionally attempted to set up Doctor Who style rules to limit the time travel possibilities, but more often than not the show ditches such high minded ideals to tell joyful, silly stories.
And the Arrowverse is no stranger to resurrection. Multiple characters across all the CW superhero series have cheated death, including Legends of Tomorrow’s Sara Lance herself. The mystical Lazarus Pits guarded by the League of Assassins have been the go to resurrection plot device over the years, though Arrow has made at least some effort to suggest the Pits are no longer active.
However the show manages to revive Darhk, it will be a welcome occasion. A low level, forgettable villain in the comics, Darhk became one of the most memorable villains in the Arrowverse due largely to Neal McDonough’s dynamic, scene chewing performance. And while he’ll seemingly be without his comedic foil, John Barrowman’s Malcolm Meryln, Damien Darhk is an entertaining enough presence to stand on his own.

[h=1]Arrow Season 6 May Feature the Return of Huntress[/h]

Season 6 of The CW series Arrow could potentially see the return of a classic DC character that hasn’t appeared on the show since 2014. Helena Bertinelli, also known as the Huntress (played by Jessica De Gouw) has spent years in jail and may finally cross paths once again with Team Arrow.
Since playing the Huntress character, De Gouw has been a regular in the short-lived NBC series Dracula and the WGN series Underground, which was cancelled after two season in May. It seems that the 29-year-old Australian actor has an “absolute willingness” to bring Huntress to life again, meaning there is a real possibility that she will appear at some point during the show’s impending sixth season.
[h=3]Related: Why Arrow Season 5 is Stephen Amell’s Favorite[/h]Executive producer Marc Guggenheim was asked about the chances of the character’s return in Arrow season 6 by CBR. Guggenheim seemed interested in the idea and confirmed that bringing back the Huntress is an option that the series’ producers are willing to pursue:
I want to say, ‘Absolutely.’ Jessica De Gouw has expressed an absolute willingness to come back. Jessica’s a favorite actor of mine, and the Huntress is a favorite character of mine. I want to make it happen in Season 6. We’ve got some plans for the later half of the year that I think she will fit into really well, so we’ll see.

De Gouw first appeared as the character in “Muse of Fire”, the seventh episode of Arrow season 1. The daughter of a powerful crime boss, Helena Bertinelli developed a deep hatred for her father and his criminal empire after they murdered her fiancé. Toward the beginning of her story-arc, her mission of vengeance against the Bertinellis mirrored Oliver’s, but in time it became apparent that Helena and Oliver were completely different.
Soon after developing a romantic relationship with Helena, Oliver realized how violent and out of control she had become and had to stop her. Huntress, having been trained in archery by Oliver, became a dangerous foe for Team Arrow, but she was eventually defeated.
She returned in an episode of season 2 to kill Laurel, who was handling her father’s case. She was defeated again and sent to prison, where the character has remained ever since. It’s hard to say what kind of person she will be if and when she ever comes out.
The comic book version of Huntress was also prone to violence, however, the character was able to develop a more heroic reputation after spending some time as a member of the Justice League. Fans will have to wait and see if the Arrow version will have a similar chance to redeem herself.

[h=1]Arrow Season 6 May Be Casting Deathstroke’s Son[/h]

A new casting announcement suggests that one of Deathstroke’s sons will appear in Arrow season 6. After the events of season 5, there’s really no telling what direction Arrow will go in this fall. Not only will Oliver be dealing with the fallout of the events on Lian Yu, but the show’s entire narrative has taken a turn – now that it’s done flashing-back to Oliver’s 5 year journey home. Of course, elements from the past will still play into the show’s present.
Among other things, it seems that Huntress could return to Arrow in season 6, after a prolonged absence. In the meantime, Black Siren will continue to confuse the team and threaten the various living members of the Lance family. By bringing in foes that tie back to Oliver’s past, the show should continue to gain thematic richness. However, not everything will be focused on the Green Arrow. The events of season 6 are said to devastate Diggle – and now that Deathstroke is back in the mix, we could dive deeper into his own history.
[h=3]Related: Katie Cassidy Wants Black Siren & White Canary to Fight[/h]According to TV Line, Arrow is adding a character in season 6 that (seemingly) has ties to Oliver’s greatest frenemy. Here is the relevant excerpt from the article:
“The CW series is currently seeking an Aussie lad to fill the guest-starring role of an ‘introverted, moody and naturally athletic’ teenager.”

While the Australian teenager in question could be a separate character, it seems likely he’ll be related to Deathstroke. We already know Slade will be getting flashbacks this season, so it makes sense for Arrow to focus on his family either in the past or present. As for who the young man is, there’s two strong possibilities.
In the comics, Slade was three children. His daughter Rose is obviously out given the term ‘lad’, but she also served as the template for Isabella Rochev/Ravager during season 2. His son Grant, meanwhile, appeared in the future version of Star City on season 1 of Legends of Tomorrow. While Arrow could recast the role, Slade’s son Joe seems to be the more likely candidate.
Joe Wilson hasn’t yet appeared in the Arrowverse, but Slade has mentioned him a number of times throughout the show. As Slade hasn’t brought up any other children and knowing Arrow often brings back elements from previous seasons, Joe will probably appear in some form this season. In the comics, he’s just as villainous as his father, so he could present Oliver with another threat. Then again, Slade is walking an interesting line these days, so there’s no telling what the future holds for the Wilson family. With season 6 of Arrow coming up fast, we should know who the mysterious Aussie is soon enough.

[h=1]Arrow Season 6 Casts Kirk Acevedo as Richard Dragon[/h]

Arrow has finally cast one of its principal villains for season 6, with Kirk Acevedo being set to play Richard Dragon. Coming off what many considered a creative resurgence in season 5 (thanks in part to a more grounded story and a compelling villain in Prometheus), Arrow last left off with a game-changing cliffhanger that saw the island of Lian Yu blown up and Prometheus dead at his own hands. While the fates of key members of Team Arrow remain uncertain, executive producer Marc Guggenheim thereafter revealed that Richard Dragon will be the villain in season 6.
While seasons 3 and 4 of Arrow elected for more magically-powered villains in Ra’s al Ghul and Damien Darhk, season 5 brought the show back to its more realistic roots in Adrian Chase’s Prometheus (Josh Segarra), who had a personal vendetta against protagonist Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). Along with being the first season not to include island-related flashbacks, season 6 will also keep Dragon’s character more grounded like Prometheus before him.

According to Deadline, Acevedo has officially been cast as Ricardo Diaz, a common identity for the Richard Dragon character in the comics. Described as an ex-con who spent time in prison for a crimes he was falsely accused of, Dragon comes into Arrow season 6 looking to take over the criminal underworld of Star City.

In certain comic runs, Dragon takes up the mantle of a hero, but Arrow seems to be borrowing certain elements from the character’s New 52 run – where Diaz directly faces off with the Green Arrow and even sends the Longbow Hunters after Queen at one point, before being taken down by Green Arrow and John Diggle (David Ramsey in Arrow). Not that Arrow has ever really been beholden to the comics up to this point, but Dragon’s introduction definitely opens up new possibilities for Guggenheim and the producers.
Dragon won’t be the only villain to appear in season 6, however, and some fans wonder if the newest season will adopt a similar approach to last season – which featured Tobias Church (Chad Coleman) in a multi-episode arc before being killed off. Could Arrow start including a revolving door of villains for Oliver and the rest of Team Arrow to face next season? That remains to be seen, but the producers’ promise of exploring backstories of more villainous characters (like Black Siren) could mean a more villain-focused season.
Either way, a veteran actor like Acevedo (known for his roles on shows like Oz, Fringe and 12 Monkeys) should bring a lot of legitimacy to a vital and complex character like Richard Dragon. Hopefully, the team behind Arrow can continue the show’s new-found creative energy and deliver another season close to the quality of 5, with the episodes ahead.

[h=1]Arrow Casts Liam Hall as Slade Wilson’s Son[/h]

Deathstroke’s son is coming to Arrow and Liam Hall has been cast in the role of Joe Wilson. Slade Wilson has been a vital part of Arrow over the previous five seasons, but it was most recently in season 5 that Manu Bennett made his triumphant return. After missing the entirety of season 4 and only appearing in one episode in season 3, Deathstroke came back in a big way at the end of season 5. He was freed from Lian Yu and became part of Oliver Queen’s team to take down Adrian Chase.
However, the season finale left the fate of Deathstroke and nearly everyone from the cast up in the air. Thanks to interviews and other forms of confirmation, we know who will be returning in season 6 in some capacity, and that includes Slade. He won’t just be returning in a small role either, as his son is now set to appear.

EW revealed that Liam Hall has been cast as Deathstroke’s son, Joe Wilson. He is set to appear in the two-part Deathstroke focused episode that were previously announced, but what his future holds beyond those episodes is not known. EW also shared some character details for him, stating that he also joined A.S.I.S. and is now stuck in a Kasnian prison under the alias Kane Wolfman.

Hall has not yet had a truly breakout role, but has appeared in Lucifer, Camp, Once Upon a Time, and Before I Fall. But, depending on the recurring nature of this role, playing Joe Wilson aka Jericho could be just that. Joe Wilson is a former member of the Teen Titans, but the mute hero wound up going insane thanks to using his mind controlling powers.
How much of his comic history comes into play is unknown, but should he recur after the flashback Deathstroke episodes, there is a fair chance some of this is addressed. The potential for him to return may have already been indicated by Oliver promising to give Deathstroke information on his son in exchange for the role he played in attempting to stop Chase. If Oliver already knows about Slade’s son, then he could seek him out should Deathstroke in fact be dead. Plus, maybe Joe will deem Oliver responsible for the death of his father and figure into a larger role moving forward in season 6. Whether or not that happens remains to be seen, and could largely depend on how his debut is received in this two-episode arc.

[h=1]Arrow: Colton Haynes Teases Roy’s Return in Season 6[/h]

Colton Haynes has teased a return to Arrow. When Oliver Queen started his journey as a hero/vigilante, he was very determined to go it alone. Over time he began to accept help from John Diggle and Felicity Smoak, but even then he was generally reluctant to accept assistance from anyone else. So when Roy Harper became obsessed with helping him, Ollie did everything he could to protect the young man. Over time, he gave in and trained Roy, who became his sidekick, Arsenal. Eventually, Roy claimed credit for being The Arrow and faked his own death, leaving town in order to protect Ollie.
Since then, Roy has only been seen a handful of times. Once when Thea went to visit him in his new home in Monument Point, he left to save her from a life on the run with him, encouraged her to take his place on the team – leading to Thea wearing the Arsenal costume and becoming Speedy. And once when he returned to Star City after being blackmailed by The Calculator. While he is mentioned frequently, Roy has been gone since season four.

But it looks like he is coming back. After a fan tweeted to actor Colton Haynes about missing him and Roy on Arrow, Colton responded with a tweet of his own, promising that Roy will be returning soon.
Roy's coming back very soon

— Colton Haynes (@ColtonLHaynes) September 9, 2017
Since season six will begin airing next month, it seems likely that “soon” is referring to the upcoming season. The tweet is certainly vague; it does not say how long the return is for or what the context is. Still, Roy’s presence was missed in season five, specifically when the actor was unable to return for the 100th episode, which featured several characters who had previously died or otherwise left the series. Roy’s image was shown and an audio clip played, but it wasn’t quite the same.

It is also worth noting that out of all of Oliver’s living loved ones, Roy was one of the very few who was not kidnapped by Prometheus and brought to Lian Yu for the explosive season five finale. Prometheus went to great lengths to find all the people Ollie cared about both as Oliver Queen and the Green Arrow, even tracking down his ex-lover Samantha and their son William. But Roy – along with Rory/Ragman who is also returning this season – were both noticeable in their absence. Whether it was because Roy was gone so long, or hid so well is unknown.
Aside from his friendship with Oliver, Roy’s return could impact a number of other characters. Thea certainly will be affected by the return of her ex-boyfriend, and since she is no longer a regular part of Team Arrow, perhaps that is an opening for Arsenal to return. There is also a lot of unfinished business between Roy and Slade Wilson, who is the reason Roy was poisoned with mirakuru – which in turn is the reason Roy once murdered a police officer. Slade is on a mission of redemption at this point, but whether Roy will be able to accept or trust him is a big question indeed.

[h=1]Marc Guggenheim Explains Deathstroke’s Return to Arrow[/h]

Marc Guggenheim explains Deathstroke’s return for Arrow season 6. The character played by Manu Bennett made his TV debut during the show’s first outing and became the primary antagonist of season 2. Aside from a brief cameo here and there, the character hadn’t really been seen until last season when Oliver (Stephen Amell) had no choice but to bring him back into the fold and join forces with him to take down villain Prometheus.
Now, Deathstroke is sticking around a bit longer this time, although the character still remains a villain and far from a willing ally, Arrow is diving deep into his storyline giving him a two-part narrative arc. While we do not know yet as to how this will all tie into Oliver’s main narrative, Guggenheim shares some interesting tidbits on how the show was able to utilize the character again, given that the DCEU is supposedly crafting their own version of the comic book villain previously announced to be played by Joe Manganiello.

Speaking to Collider, Arrow‘s EP detailed how Slade Wilson will factor into the show’s upcoming installment. Guggenheim also talked about the process the series had to go through to bring Deathstroke back into the thick of things:

“It was a function of – you know, DC control these characters. We went through a period where DC said, ‘We’ve got plans for Deathstroke that don’t include Arrow.’ That changed at the end of this year because I basically, you know, we knew we were going to Lian Yu and we had to see Slade Wilson, so I went to DC and said, ‘Listen, I know you guys have plans for him and, you know, that’s all cool, but you’ve got to give us this one because we can’t go to Lian Yu and not see Slade Wilson,’ and as part of those conversations we also were like ‘and he’ll also need to be in the season premiere of season 6 because that ties into, you know, our plans, and it would be really great if we could tell a, you know, a Slade Wilson-centric story. We’ve never truly done that.’ So we’re doing a cool two-parter, episodes 5 and six this year and the flashbacks will be from Slade’s perspective and it’s very much a Slade/Oliver two hander. It’s always great having Manu on the show, and, again, it’s like, we just have to operate, you know, within the requirements of DC.”

Based on Guggenheim’s comments, Arrow‘s ability to use the character may be the result of the DCEU shelving their own Deathstroke plans for the time being. Over the last few months, various changes have been made to the Batman film he was to be a part of, with the film’s production in flux following Affleck’s decision to step down as director and Matt Reeves coming in to replace him. Since then, the assassin’s future on the big screen has become something of a question mark.
Back in July, Manganiello revealed that he actually knows what Warner Bros. plans to do with his DCEU villain but cannot reveal anything about it. While we have not really heard anything specific about Deathstroke’s cinematic fate, it seems the DCEU is still actively developing the character. It may just take a little bit longer for us to learn what those plans entail. Until then, fans can enjoy Deathstroke’s return in Arrow season 6.

[h=1]Arrowverse Crossover: Quantico’s Russell Tovey Cast As The Ray[/h]

Russell Tovey has been cast as DC superhero The Ray in this year’s Arrowverse crossover. Tovey will also voice the character in his own animated series that will air on CW Seed, Freedom Fighters: The Ray. The Ray has been touted as the first gay superhero to headline his own series.
It was previously announced that The CW would add a new show to its Arrowverse lineup called Freedom Fighters: The Ray. Developed as an animated series, the show will be streamed on CW Seed, a digital streaming service. CW Seed is already the home of Vixen, another animated series set in the Arrowverse. Like Vixen, Freedom Fighters: The Ray will feature various guest stars such as Arrow‘s Stephen Amell and The Flash‘s Grant Gustin. An image of The Ray can also be seen in artwork for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover, “Crisis on Earth-X”, which will encompass all four of the live-action shows: Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.

TVLine reports that English actor and Quantico star Russell Tovey will play Ray Terrill in the Arrowverse crossover and voice the character in the animated series. It had been hinted last year that The Ray would eventually appear in one of the live-action shows, just as Megalyn Echikunwoke’s Vixen guest-starred in a season 4 episode of Arrow.

The CW’s version of The Ray is described as a reporter who is exposed to a “genetic light bomb” that gives him light-based powers. The Ray is recruited by Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters to “fight violence and oppression wherever it exists.
There have been four DC superheroes to carry the name of The Ray. The first was Lanford “Happy” Terrill, who debuted in Smash Comics #14 in 1940. The Ray was originally published by Quality Comics before the company was purchased by DC. He was a member of a group called the Freedom Fighters who fought Nazis on an alternate universe called Earth-X, a world where Germany won World War II. His son, Ray Terrill, developed a similar set of powers and eventually discovered that his father was the Golden Age hero, inspiring him to take up the mantle. Ray Terrill was revealed to be gay during “DC Rebirth”.
It appears that the heroes of the Arrowverse are headed for a clash with Earth-X that will somehow involve The Ray and possibly the Freedom Fighters. The crossover is set to feature villains from Earth-X who interrupt Barry and Iris’ wedding.
[h=2]The Arrowverse crossover takes place across two nights on Monday, November 27th and Tuesday, November 28th on The CW. Freedom Fighters: The Ray airs on CW Seed later this year.[/h]Source: TVLine

[h=1]Stephen Amell: Crisis on Earth-X Crossover is a ‘4-Hour Movie’[/h]

According to Stephen Amell, the 2017 crossover between Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow – now officially titled “Crisis on Earth-X” – will not only be the Arrowverse’s biggest crossover yet, it will also feel like a “four-hour movie.”
In December 2014, The CW aired a two-episode crossover between The Flash and Arrow that thereafter became an annual event. The following year, the crossover increased in scale and introduced new characters such as Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and Vandal Savage in an effort to set up Legends of Tomorrow. In 2016, the crossover grew to include Legends of Tomorrow and also incorporated characters from Supergirl, as the heroes worked together to fight off an alien invasion. This year, “Crisis on Earth-X” will take the crossover to a whole new level by encompassing all four shows in a two-night event.
[h=4]During a panel at Salt Lake Comic-Con, Arrow star Stephen Amell discussed “Crisis on Earth-X” and compared it to previous crossovers:[/h]

When we first did the crossover, I guess back in our third season and The Flash’s first season, it was very much like ‘It’s an episode of The Flash where I show up, and then an episode of Arrow where he shows up. And even last year, it was like ‘You know, Flash showed up on Supergirl, and then it was an episode of The Flash, an episode of Arrow, and an episode of Legends.’ But this year is just a four-hour movie.

Amell added that each episode feels like part of the crossover, rather than just an episode of Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow or Legends of Tomorrow. He also promised that the crossover is going to be “really, really good.”
Though showrunner Marc Guggenheim has admitted that the epic scale of “Invasion!” will be hard to top, “Crisis on Earth-X” will attempt to do just that by pitting the casts of all four shows against villains from an alternate universe called Earth-X. The event will take place during the much-anticipated wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West. The crossover will also feature The Ray, played by Quantico‘s Russell Tovey, who will later star in the animated series, Freedom Fighters: The Ray on the digital streaming service, CW Seed.

[h=1]Arrowverse Crisis on Earth-X Crossover Will Include ‘Prometheus-X’[/h]

Prometheus may be dead, but the Arrowverse writers have found a way to bring the character back in the form “Prometheus-X,” during the upcoming four-way crossover between The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.
After fighting the immortal warrior Ra’s Al Ghul in season 3 and the supernaturally powerful Damien Darhk in season 4, producers and writers of Arrow knew that it would be hard to find a main antagonist that could match the threat level of the last two villains. The answer to this problem was Prometheus, an enemy who could emotionally challenge Oliver like no one else before him. Using psychological warfare, Prometheus nearly broke Oliver. After being unmasked as district attorney Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) most of his plans were eventually thwarted, but in the end, Prometheus still got what he wanted by committing suicide and possibly killing several of Oliver’s friends.

EW has confirmed that an alternate universe version of the character, Prometheus-X, will appear in the upcoming Arrowverse crossover, “Crisis on Earth-X.” EW also reports that “there are no plans” for Josh Segarra’s return, meaning that Prometheus-X will never be unmasked, or that someone else is using the identity. EW theorizes that Prometheus-X will actually be the Earth-X counterpart of Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), who was suspected to be Prometheus at an early point in season 5.
[h=4]Related: Arrow Season 6 Extended Trailer: Oliver is the Bad Man[/h]

It was previously announced that “Crisis on Earth-X” would bring the heroes together for the wedding of Barry and Iris, only to have it interrupted by villains from another world. Known as Earth-X, this world exists as a much darker reality where the Nazis won World War II. Earth-X is the home of evil versions of the Arrowverse heroes, including Overgirl, Dark Arrow, and Dark Flash, who were all teased in promotional art for the crossover (see above). Also included in the artwork was the first hint of Prometheus-X’s involvement, though at the time it wasn’t clear if this could be a different archer. Fans will have to wait and see if the crossover will feature more alternate versions of Arrowverse villains.

[h=1]Arrowverse Crossover: Could Tom Welling Play The Superman Of Earth-X?[/h]

The Arrowverse is back, and this year, it brings with it the biggest crossover event yet for the DCTV universe. ‘Crisis On Earth X’ is going to bring together all four shows (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow) for a ‘four hour movie’ style event, where each episode connects completely to the others. This is an expansion of the usual crossover style for the CW’s comic universe, where heroes from each show make an appearance in each other’s episodes.
The crossover also promises plenty of opportunities for the Arrowverse to include a few new dopplegangers – or even entirely new versions of characters. Some fans are even wondering if the ‘Crisis’ in the title heralds a ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’-style simplifying of the Arrowverse, where all four shows will be brought together into a single universe… potentially including a familiar face f rom the older DC series, Smallville.
[h=2]What Is Crisis On Earth X?[/h]

While the CW is keeping the details of the crossover close to their chest for now, there’s quite a bit that we know about Earth-X already. One of the many different worlds in the DC multiverse, Earth-X explores what the world would look like if Hitler had been successful and managed to take over the entire world. While there are pockets of resistence, led by the super-team Freedom Fighters, the majority of superheroes we know and love work on behalf of the Nazi regime to continue the oppression of the people of Earth.
The crossover event itself will take place as Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West (Candice Patton) finally get married (or try to, anyway). It will pit each of the Arrowverse heroes against their evil Nazi counterparts (Dark Arrow, Dark Flash, and Overgirl), as well as Earth-X versions of various other Arrowverse villains. It’s a story that will revolve around Oliver (Stephen Amell), but that will have a huge impact on the Arrowverse as a whole.
[h=2]Will Evil Superman Make An Appearance?[/h]

While the poster for the event has confirmed that ‘Dark’ versions of the Arrowverse big three (Supergirl, The Flash, and Green Arrow) will all be appearing on Earth-X, they aren’t going to be the only ones with evil dopplegangers. We can presumably expect to see some Earth-X versions of the Legends and the other members of Team Flash, Team Arrow, and Team Supergirl – whether they will still be on those same teams or not.
Previous doppleganger universes have included versions of characters who are not superheroes, who are different heroes, or who are different villains. From Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) to Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp), there have been plenty of dopplegangers who range from an ‘evil’ version to a totally different character, and this is sure to happen on Earth-X as well. Which begs the question: is there going to be an Earth-X Superman in the mix?
In the comics, Superman is very much a part of this alternate universe, as one of the leaders of the Gerechtkeitliga, aka the Justice League Axis. He’s one of the ‘heroes turned evil’ at the core of this universe, and an opponent to the Freedom Fighters who continue to resist. As Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) has already appeared in the DCTV universe, it would be very possible for him to return for the crossover event, although this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
[h=2]Tom Welling Wants To Return To DC[/h]

The possibility of an alternate Superman has sparking speculation that this might be the role that brings Tom Welling back to the CW’s DC universe, as the Superman of Earth X. Welling first appeared in the DC live action world as the star of Smallville, an earlier superhero offering from the CW that ran for ten seasons and told the story of Clark Kent from high school teen to the Superman that we know and love.
Welling has recently commented that he would love to be a part of the DCTV universe, saying that he already has some ideas about how he could appear on The Flash. Many fans had hoped that Welling would reprise his role as Superman on Supergirl, so this would be a second option to see the actor back in red and blue for a few episodes. Adding Welling as Superman on an alternate Earth would be a great way to include the actor, and one that would allow for guest appearances in future, without committing him to a regular part. It would also be great to see another Smallville alum appear as an Arrowverse villain, as Laura Vandervoort did last year when she popped up on Supergirl as Indigo. It’s even possible that a Crisis storyline involving multiple earths could include the Smallville universe as another alternate reality – something that would certainly make Smallville fans happy, but that would be more than a little complicated to pull off.

Adds a nice twist though. I did wonder where his tremor went lol.
As for Olicity again, I despise it. I want Laurel to take that place. Have her redemption arc. But this is BS man

They are trying to mess her character so bad that it would be impossible to make her a positive character again

Totally, but man Laurel and Oliver is always the end game. In the comics its always Laurel and Oliver. Felicity's character is fine as Overwatch, Olicity was so damn annoying it destroyed two good seasons of Arrow one with fucking Raas al ghul in it. I mean Laurel's redemption arc and then ultimately getting back together with Oliver will be awesome to watch as well.

they fully tried making green arrow as batman for us on the tv but it failed miserably LOL the whole raas al ghul accepting oliver as his successor etc been there done that batman did it first... so they copied that and got the backlash for it.. so far what are they doing justice to comics :p not much but atleast the new black canary according to new 52 comics is good.
