You see, I dont think about the distant future when I'm about to talk to a girl. I dont look for shadi-able qualities, because I'm too party-mahol-minded to be thinking about shadi right now.

Timepass is an offensive word, I'm just looking to get to know her and build a connection with her if we click.

There arent only two paths, shadi or timepass. There's another one, called a healthy friendship.

.. and ultimately, I'm probably the same age as her, since I wasted two study years of my life on Love & other Drugs .

When someone loves someone, he always pictures her to be "That" girl. If you want to make a healthy relationship, then you can call it 'just' friendship. And for that, you dont need a crush. You cant build just a healthy friendship without she being expecting more than that. Or perhaps it's just me.

Its just you. I love my best friend and she loves me, but we both know its impractical and impossible for us to be married. We both have different expectations, and even though we're very close, I cant see a future with her.

If you want to make a healthy relationship, then you can call it 'just' friendship. And for that, you dont need a crush.

Crush doesnt necessarily mean that you have to ultimately fall in love and get married. For me, a crush is someone that grabs and holds my attention. Someone that I want to look at and be around with. Who would want befriend someone they find unattractive and uninteresting?

And even If I become friends with my crush, and then later realize that my crush is incompatible with me? Am I still obligated to fall in love with her and marry her, because I had a crush on her?

What you seem to be getting at--and I concede that I'm only assuming so at this point--is the whole "you just know it" mantra. But to be honest, to me, it seems like you're just begging the question. For example, you may get to know a girl, and have these overwhelming feelings rush into your mind about her, and you may say that is love. But the problem here is that you're already making a judgement call that what you feel is indeed love. But you do that without knowing what love is. So if you mean to suggest, "Don't think about it too much; you'll just know!" Then the problem is that if you don't know what it is that you're supposed to feel, you can never be sure if what you feel IS that thing.

Love is a broad term, and it has a different definition for everyone.


Take, for example, my recent crush that I mentioned few posts ago. If you were to ask me to define my crush in terms of love. I'll say that I love the way she looks, and carries herself.
For my best friend that I also mentioned, I'll say that I love her because she's been with me through the darkest hour in my life, and she's someone I can talk to about anything, someone who's company I cherish.


On the other hand, I had this Abuses will lead to ban GF. And I hated more things about her than I loved, but she was still my GF and I was deeply upset after breaking up with her. Confusing, right?


It's all psychological and chemical. For me, if I have to ask myself "Am I in love?", then I'm not. When I'm in love, I can feel it my gut and my chest.


For me, it is near impossible to develop THAT love after friendship. A wehshi crush is a pre requisite to falling in love, for me. For you, it may be different. So in short, there are some questions that are better left unanswered.

Its not that iam in love for first time..It happened before but i guess that was "Charthi Jawani" under the umbrella guidance of movie "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham"

It was very bad experience that was one sided love.. Hurted like hell. Wasted my years of "Future Building Stage" for her. Got compart in Matriculation and then "Abbey Di Jutti" .. Well things went on then i went to university.. Saw my love there and believe my it was love at first sight.. She has "Sanwali" rangaat .. And in m first semester in one of the laboratory experiments i noticed here for the first time,

She seemed to me very sober and very well managed girl.. And next things i was doing was searching for her cellphone No. Things went on.. Unlike others who says "Ap Meri Behan Ban Jaein" then "Baji Hum Dosti Karlein" .. And then "I love You Baji.. Lolx" I proposed her straight away and said i love her and thats it.. No fancy dialogues.. I didnt care to disturb the natural piece and harmony of our solar system at that time when i proposed..

She's from mediocre background.. Very ordinary and very normal girl.. Nothing special about her.. But nothing special makes her so special for me.. We had some really hard time together.. (Being punjabi to excell in studies in Balochistan and having a GF, thats thinking in Balochistan) faced many harsh times.

Its now more than 4.5 years .. I never met or did something physical like hugs and kisses and still i feel love and affection for her like it was from day one.. Planning to marry her.. But again that ******** of "Family, Status, Cast etc etc etc"
