4870 at cheap prices

^whats the max u achieved with ur HIS 4870??

Well bro i'm currently running the system on cm460 watts so not pushing the GPU to the limits
I'll be getting the Corsair CX400 tommorow so will c what this baby is capable of, it's kinda already factory clocked at 770 on the core and 4ghz on the memory (gddr5).

On stock i have a bandwidth of 128 gbps as compared to the reference 4870.
On ocing, it at ran stable with Furmark at about 149.8 gbps (1162mhz memory clock) and the funny part is dat the temperature didn't pass 59 C on 100% load. And while playing crysis the change was noticable the FPS didn't go below 40 at everything at very high but no AA. I'll update the performance on i get a good PSU as i don't wanna risk anything

Yes but check the specs on the card before doing so (clocks, shaders, etc). Look up the official specs on the internet and match those with the one Galaxy's selling.

so ankhain band karo aur utha lou!
dx11 gpu ki ist gen is not recomended at this price tag let nvidia come out with gt300 series prices will be stabilized n so far battle forge n dirt2 r the only dx11 games comingout!
so keep everything in mind!
n follow what Dark has told u to check b4 u buy anythign!

so ankhain band karo aur utha lou!
dx11 gpu ki ist gen is not recomended at this price tag let nvidia come out with gt300 series prices will be stabilized n so far battle forge n dirt2 r the only dx11 games comingout!
so keep everything in mind!

Somebody in some thread informed that 14.5k 4870 is 512 mb version......check thoroughly before buying after all xfx is making some strange gpus lately....

yes fajoo is right but throughout the price of 5770 i must say 4870 is best buy in these days

Well since the 4870 came to 14.5k and now at 13.8k, it is not available anymore, including other gpus, they are also not available and will not be available anymore........so even if they now mention 12k price for 4870, it doesn't count coz IT IS NOOOOTTTT AVAILABLE NOR COMING BACKKKKKKKKK
