    For anyone curious, I just plugged in my backup Stormfiber, and it's as if nothing is wrong with the internet. I'm maxing out my 30MBit on a test file; the same test file/link on Fiberlink won't break 100KB/s (and goes down to 75 or less). Most browsing is normal, responsive, no shitty pings...

    Whatsapp support is apparently too popular, and therefore, far too overloaded for them to be able to respond in a timely manner. I suspect the same is the case for their services in general; they've grown too quickly for their own good.

    I've had multiple cases of complaining at Time X, and them replying at Time Z, while the problem gets resolved by Time Y. Whatsapp support is more or less a sham; clueless monkeys to say the least. I'm glad I have Stormfiber for backup, they're incredibly stable.

    They do bind MAC, but I had them bind my Laptop's MAC instead of a router since most routers can clone MAC. So if I do need to change the router in the future, I can simply clone my laptop's MAC on the new one instead of having to mess around with support over phone hoping to get lucky.

    Most commercial VPN providers will not have a PoP in Pakistan because Pakistan is not a popular destination in terms of traffic. The closest you might manage on some services, is India. Singapore, HK, et al are otherwise more or less common.

    Trials, as the name suggests, are short terms. Not 6 months. VPNBook if you want to freeload on a slow VPN. Or you can just buy a quality one.
