Recommend me a relatively cheap internet service provider...

So... I've been mooching off my cousin's internet for over an year now... but it's gotten to the point where there are just too many devices connected on it, and I can't play any online games without massive lag. I play Overwatch and you need less than 200 ms in that game to really be able to play.

That said, I've finally decided to get a good internet connection. I'm thinking of getting an ethernet cable, as opposed to wireless, since I don't want anyone connecting to it but me. I've heard enough about Worldcall and PTCL to know both those companies are declining rapidly. So... what service can I really depend on to get cheap internet (around 2-4 mb).

My current options are Wi-Tribe and Stormfibre, with Wi-tribe being the one I'm leaning towards, since Stormfibre's 10K (or is it 5K) upfront payment is not something I can get down with TBH. Plus I think a 2 to 3 MB internet would serve me FINE but they only seem to have information about 10MB / 20MB and 30MB packages on their website.

So, to all the gamers out there, what affordable internet service do you recommend I choose, please answer with personal experiences rather than fanboyism, thanks.

Wi tribe isn't a good choice for gaming as it is wireless. Stormfiber does cost money but it is reliable

Ps: u can even do gaming on 1 mb connection.

Have you considered Fiber link ?

Well except for the time they took for installation its the best ISP which at least I have experienced in Pakistan , I am currently on there 100mbps package [emoji28]

The 5k installation thingy is kinda unattractive still but damn if those internet speeds aren't amazing. 12 mb for 1500 is just wow. :eek: I guess I'll have to save a bit more of cash, before I can get it, but does looks pretty solid.

You don't need to save with Fiberlink. Ask for a loan, and pay Fiberlink for the upfront installation. By the time they actually set your connection up, you'll have paid your loan back, and saved enough money on top to buy a house. Or three.

Or you could just be smart and go for Stormfiber and get a decent connection before you have grandchildren.

hes right do not go for fiberlink they will set it up in ages

go for transworld or stromfiber or optix
these are all fiber connections and will give you the best pings possible

if money is an issue you and your cousin can share the connection

Keep Calm and say ASTAGHFIRULLAH to fiberlink , hell even PTCL is better than those

Since you want cheap your best bet is Cable internet (which are highly depended on their Dealers), and for gaming you should look for National Broadband better ping even you are downloading at the same time , also look for ebone, connect but remember on these two you should do anything except for gaming if you want consistent good pings

but first you need check which ISP is available in your area

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
