Holy sh*t PC players playing the game early on Steam Deck and with FSR, or DS4 or 60fps patch and what not....meanwhile CerebralTiger waiting for his 20fps version 🤣🤣🤣
Steam Deck? Hahah the game isn't even running well on a 3090 :ROFLMAO:

Stutter CiTy :ROFLMAO:

Not to mention, textures stop loading past a certain point. And physics are tied to frame rate this time, so running at 60 fps means they run at double the speed and operate incorrectly.

Shader cache isn't out yet. Would wait a couple of days for someone to play through a portion of this game, so that when their shader cache is shared and compiled, stuttering is eliminated. Also 60fps patches slow down the physics (like in Pokemon S&V), so the game runs fine in 60fps.

All for $0. Much better than buying a Switch +$70 for Nintendo's trash optimization🤜🤣

Nintendo is a filthy, greedy corporation that makes idiotic decisions to boost profit over satisfying customers.

I support all attempts at pirating their classic games.
Kudos to those Nintendo pirates!

This, the 60FPS patch fixes the speed issue, leaving only stutter problem which should be fixed with shader cache.

running pretty smooth otherwise on my 3080 at 60FPS 1440p,

Would it make the performance any better on the Steamdeck ? It's super stuttery on the deck averaging 20fps at the moment. I think I read somewhere to keep leave the game open for a couple of hours to cache shaders and I did that for like 90 mins or so but honestly couldn't feel any difference.

I'm pretty sure the deck wont run this anywhere near 60 fps, all I'm looking at is a stable 30 fps. I would much rather play on the deck than on the switch.

I actually tried the 30 fps patch but that made the performance even worse on the deck for some reason.

As was the case with BOTW, some shaders can only be compiled at runtime. Having a pre-compiled shader cache won't help with those. Secondly, the stutters seen in the videos I shared have nothing to do with shaders. They're streaming stutters. They occur every time you travel through the game's designated loading zones, and there's nothing you can do to fix them. Imagine playing a game via emulation where you'll regularly be dropping from the sky. Yikes! :ROFLMAO:

CT are these your videos ?
Nope, these were captured by a friend on his i9/3090 PC.

Steam deck might be too weak to emulate this for now. I Was running on i9 12th gen and 3080. So far, what i played last night the game was playable for me at least. Some stutters but i see some people starting to post Shaders/settings already. Will experiment and report back.

I would also expect game specific fixes for this game from the Ryujinx developers as this game is big. Possible working Yuzu emulator also most likely coming soon. Let's see.

The Yuzu EA has also been out for a week or so I think. Its said to improve BOTW's performance alot maintaining a stable 30 fps so I'm hopeful TOTK will be good to run in the coming weeks. I have downloaded shader caches and will give it another try on the deck to see if it works any better. Not keeping my hopes high but let's see.

Thank you guys for the info about emulating Switch/WiiU games for free. I didn't know it was possible.

Pakgamers is the best indeed.

Emulating Mario Kart 8 at 60 FPS!!!
Now downloading Mario 3D World and Star Fox Zero. A huge upgrade for me, as the last I played were the N64 versions.

Indeed, a gaming PC (at minimum i7 12th gen with 8GB dedicated or shared VRam) and a PS5 is a must to enjoy the best of the both worlds. Switch and Xbawks are unnecessary accessories.

I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.

Both PS and Xbox have been a flop this gen as they can barely maintain 30 fps in a lot of AAA games th.

As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.
