Looks awesome, i was hoping they do away with breakable weapons but the fusion thing is very interesting. I think they made a compromise. Can't wait to play this.

Maannnnn, the trailer hit so hard I literally have goose bumps.

And this is coming from someone who was never really a big Zelda fan. The first Zelda game I completed was BOTW and then i went on to replay it a couple more times. It was THAT good. After BOTW, I actually went back to finish Skyward Sword HD on the switch a few months ago and just a few days ago finished Wind Waker HD on the steam deck as well. I was planning to complete Twilight princess as well but that has to wait until TOTK.

But this trailer man... so good... SOOOO VERY GOOD !!! I just cannot wait to get my hands on this game and relive those BOTW days.

BOTW was amazing...This looks great.
I am assuming once this is out, every steamdeck developer will be working on porting / emulating it asap.
Exactly, i did pre-order but most likely it's going to run like dog-shit on the Switch. Hoping for good emulation with Yuzu or the other emulator. If it does work i'll play it on emulator as a primary preference but if not then Switch it is. Botw didn't ran too good and when i played i ran into lot of framrate issues so not holding my breath (no pun intended) for good performance on this game.

Yar BOTW's performance on the deck is still very inconsistent. Everyone is using the WII U version of BOTW to get locked 30FPS performance.

This might run better than BOTW since it's not cross gen like BOTW but i wouldnt keep my hopes high. TOTK is the only reason i havent flipped my switch as of now. Otherwise I play pretty much every switch game on the deck now.

Got the Nintendo Pro controller in anticipation for the GOAT. Didn't want to play this in docked mode with the stock joycons given how sucky they. May the 12th cannot come soon enough.

Spoiler: show

I don't like the pro controllers weak rumble effect, otherwise i don't mind it. I did play BOTW all on docked mode with a DS4 controller. You can get these bluetooth USB's from 8bitdo that you can plug in switch or almost any other device which connects to DS4 controller and even the gyro works just like the Pro controller on Switch.

My preferred controller is the DS4 for anything though lol, i don't like the PS5 controller even though i have one i still prefer the DS4.

Yar I did think of getting those BT USB devices but I was worried about their reliability and most of all the latency issues.

8bitdo's usb adds around 2-3 ms of latency, which is negligible. I've used it with the DualSense controller, and it works really well.

Though, personally, I prefer to use the Joy-cons when playing BoTW (and probably TOTK). The right joy-con can be used for gyro independent of the left one, so it works as a pointer much like the Wiimote.

Imaging citing non-technical reviewers without any evidence and still not being in the clear

"that were as bad as in BOTW"

Not proud to be a pirate at all but I'll take totk any day.

3-4 hours into the game and I'm still at the initial island. The ultrahand and Fuse abilities are an absolute blast.

Game runs like absolute crap on the deck using ryujinx.Yuzu doesn't even load the game. I would have loved to play it on the deck but will have to play on the switch for now. Is there any way to export save games over to yuzu or ryujinx from switxh?

The deck's bigger screen coupled with vibrant deck is match made in heaven for totk, if its stable that is.

So i tried it on Ryujinx with the 60FPS Patch and it runs surprisingly well. FSR to 100, 1440p. Paired with DS4 and working very well. I did preorder but i am going to start playing lol.
