But the checks can only be activated through MS updates.

Ive updated my console and now my console cant read modern warfare 2 and black ops .. how do I patch these two games with ap25 to play them again ... any guide on it ?

The new patches aren't out yet. But k3rn3l and other hackers are working on it. Hopefully we'll hear good news

Friend if you will not update your xbox360 then you can not play assassin's creed brotherhood and if you will update then in order to play this game your xbox should be flashed with LT+ or use soft mod hack if your current xbox dash version is 2.0.9199.0. and if dash version is above than 2.0.9199.0 then you can not use soft mod hack.I have lite-on drive and i am using softmod hack without any problem.
So, first do not update your xbox and see that what is your dash version if it is below than 2.0.9199.0 then update it to 2.0.9199.0 and then use softmod hack.
To play assassin's creed brotherhood there are two conditions:
1.Software(dash) update on game disk.
2.LT+ or soft mod hack.
On internet there is a guide for using soft mod hack to play assassin's creed brotherhood.

My console runs AC Brotherhood, What is the sure shot way to know if my console has LT+ or soft mod?

Can anyone confirm whether LT+ works on spoofed hitachi drives?

I got drive flashed(which is hitachi spoofed as lite-on), AP2.5 games read fine, but I get a disc unreadable error when I boot them.

That's because i don't want to go to Karachi which is too far way BTW and will cost me much more than simply going to NWB or HYD?

I dont know about hyderabad, but I can mod ur console for you . It will cost you 550-850 depending on ur drive. add 260 for shipping ur 360's drive or 500 if you want to send the whole console.

Depends upon the Hitachi drive variant.... if its a hitachi 78 or 79, yes, can be spoofed with LT+.. However, if below that, you have to use another drive. Possibly a cheap Benq or a brand new Lite-on

That's pretty hard way then because shipping whole console is too risky for me... I don't trust the courier services of Pakistan + i got my XBOX recently... I can't take out the drive and ship it.. If i could do it then i would've updated myself...

Actually its modding that is tough with the LT lite-ons. In any case, Im gonna be selling 2 brand new 360 case opening tools @ PG pretty soon
Also, the main masala is to do the drive eject trick with an xbox as the power source. It flags your xbox for a ban if it does not detect ur disc drive (which will be connected to the pc via SATA), so it is a free ban from XBL

My console has been on for some 2 hours now, the green bar is progressing, but very very slowly, like 1 mm in 2 minutes or so (on a 19" monitor ). Is this normal or is my Xbox behaving weird?
