Okay so I finally hopped back on Live with my Softmod. Having finished AC:Brotherhood on another ID, I made a new profile and activated my 3rd Trial for XBL. Downloaded countless updates and shit. Played a bit of Both Fifa 11 and Black ops. Then I popped in AC:B to try the online multiplayer but now it says "Disk is unreadable". Offline and online. What the f?

Yup. Old games should run fine. Only Fable 3, NFS:HP and AC:B will cause issues.

depends actually man Some new games don't have AP2.5 protection. You could keep your fingers crossed for that
But softmod, nope, you cant do another softmod since you have updated via live.

People are saying that Xecuter wants to wait for some time until their USB device to connect DVD Drive is released. They'll make big bucks if that happens. And nobody knows its release date aswell

Hi Guys i just bought the assassin's creed brotherhood Malaysian CD and when i insert the cd it says you need to retart to update software. i declined and then the screen says you need to update the software before proceeding. so should i update and if i update would it effect the crack on xbox360 as i mostly use the pirated cd's available in market.

Friend if you will not update your xbox360 then you can not play assassin's creed brotherhood and if you will update then in order to play this game your xbox should be flashed with LT+ or use soft mod hack if your current xbox dash version is 2.0.9199.0. and if dash version is above than 2.0.9199.0 then you can not use soft mod hack.I have lite-on drive and i am using softmod hack without any problem.
So, first do not update your xbox and see that what is your dash version if it is below than 2.0.9199.0 then update it to 2.0.9199.0 and then use softmod hack.
To play assassin's creed brotherhood there are two conditions:
1.Software(dash) update on game disk.
2.LT+ or soft mod hack.
On internet there is a guide for using soft mod hack to play assassin's creed brotherhood.

My Xbox Slim (4gb From Canada), Manufacturing date reads 2010-07-06.
I heard the Mod available in the market right now for xbox slims, depends on the manufacturing date, so with this manufacturing date,can my xbox 360 be modded? .. and can any one please tell me the Pros and Cons of the Mod currently available for Xbox Slim, ..I heard we cant play new games in it ... Like Assasins Creed brotherhoood..?
Should i be waiting for the new mod .. LT+ ..? I've been waiting for it for so long and it aint releasing ..

Dashboard versions have been updated to 2.0.12625 . BLACK OPS (pirated) does not work on modded consoles now. The original still works with LT/LT+ though. Possibly a new anti-piracy attempt from Microsoft....

WTF. i just updated my console and now black ops doesnt work anymore. EFF you microsoft. i checked f1 2010 it still works. i have LT+ modded by faizy. ppl plz post your experiences and link if you have any updates.

The black screen is for protection against possible flagging from MS. You won't get banned!
People on the forums are saying that only a minor tweak in the firmware will allow you to play the games. The minor tweak will be implemented in the firmwares. Bad news for Slim owners is that it'll take more time for their firmware to be released as work on the Fat ones will be done early

On the bright side: xUSBPRO will read the newer drives aswell There is a possibility for owners of this drive to get their Xboxes spoofed

I think it is a possibly a new protection that supersedes AP2.5 as C4E and Team Xecuter should have noticed if there was any AP2.5 data in COD:MW2 and HALO:REACH and COD:BO waaaaayy before this..

Also, I am thinking that my July 1st manufactured Xbox has a 9504 drive, many people are saying that the 0225 boom happened from August onwards, and only a very very few batches of July Slims had 0225 one, the rest had 9504. Still I don't have the balls to open up my Xbox I am scared

Well, the slim takes little skill, but a truck load of patience. That is it. Check Xecuter's slim opening tutorial. Noob proof nd u dont need any specific tools
