I don't use whatsapp that much but i didn't notice that problem the time i used it.
The Facebook app works fine.

Don't know about the size but downloading didn't take much time on my 1mb connection, installation is taking quite a bit time though :/

Yes the three apps you mentioned works fine on WP8, go ahead with it. I have a lumia 520 BTW

Bro HTC 8X was selling for 26k in the market and the same shop had Lumia 625 for 29.5k. 8X is the much better option

Yep..My Friend Humza is also saying that i should Buy HTC 8X...its a better option..but can we install Nokia Exclusives apps on HTC 8X??

Yes updated OTA, i don't know of any other way but as i said the download won't take much time. Its the installation that takes time because all of your data is backed up first and then restored. You lose nothing

No, nokia exclusives as only for the nokia cellphones. There's a reason they're called nokia exclusives

well i have lumia 520 and no amber update is available for that untill now.. i dont know why is that and when will it be available. 2nd issue is the notification is default for whatsapp viber facebook. can we change that ?? and the big question is why there is no amber update for my lumia

onething more.. does anyone who is using whatsapp observerd that while receiving a message in whatsapp, in a chat.. does your mobile vibrate ?? like when u receive a message in a chat does the phone vibrates ???

Did you check by going into settings>phone update>check for updates? Use a wifi connection to update the phone.

I updated mobile, and it is present in front of me right now. I connected to my Wifi and went into settings>Phone Updates and Check for Updates, it took time but it updated. Extra+Info Nokia app is showing "Lumia Amber" now clearly.

did you get the fm radio after updating your phone? I was announced that the phone will have fm radio after updating.
I updated mine last night but i can't find the fm radio on my phone, not that i am gonna use it but still

EDIT: Nevermind, i found it. Its under the Music + Videos

i have done a refresh and there was no update of amber available for my 520 i dont know why is that. i bought that from dubai and it is from india .. like some vendor supplied the fone to dubai and in a shop at dubai i bought that. what should i do ?

The update isn't available yet for the UAE region phones, keep checking that page. You will be able to update once it is out, there is nothing to worry about

hmm thanks bro and does it matter if the phone orignated from india. like when i go its software stuff it says rm914-nokia-scr india... i hope it does not make or cause any issue ..

finally updated to amber.. but whats new with it . . except radio . .lol .. my expectation was something like from gingerbread to jellybeans as i was a 4 year android user

My phones version is now 8.0.10328.78. Although it doesnt show nokia lumia amber anywhere in the phone setting.

Goto Settings>extras + info
You will see Lumia Amber written under 'Software Release', that's how it shows up on my lumia 520
