MULTI Why play Final Fantasy?

FFIX as many have mentioned already, but for FF7 the extended universe basically did more harm to the characters than good

eg, by the end of FFVII Cloud had overcome his self esteem issues, he'd realized he's been imitating Zack the whole time and he got over it, but then Advent Children comes along and Cloud is a whiny emo Abuses will lead to ban once again, in-fact he's far more emo than any instance in FFVII.

As far as I'm concerned Zack is the real hero of the FF7 saga. Cloud is just a husk of Zack's personality.

Y digging an old thread? I'm already convinced to play JRPGs and currently I'm playing chaos rings and final fantasy 7 and so far loving them. This thread should be closed now.
