@Hasim! With a budget of 39k, either buy yourself a GalaxySII, or dont bother looking at lower handsets than that i.e. Nexus S, Galaxy S, Incredible S etc etc
Period!
Then wait some time, and buy when your budget comes up to a level where you can buy the best possible alternative.
But i have heard that the S2 body is made out of poor plastic
"Poor" Plastic? Seriously? From where did you hear that?
I mean yea its made of Plastic, but i wont call it "Poor" Plastic. Yea the plastic has the characteristic of being fragile (compared to aluminum/metal casings etc), but i wont call that "Poor".
Anyway ... I had the same dilemma when i was buying a Galaxy S. But after I bought it, i never even cared enough for its plastic body since it weight so less that you wont even feel you are holding a 'plastic' phone in your hand.
With Galaxy S2, things get even more interesting because its even more pleasureable to hold in hand as compared to Galaxy S. That said, after seeing the SuperAMOLED Plus display on it, you will forget about everything else.
wanted to know that If the incredible S falls from a height of 5 Feet would it survive !!??!!
5 Feet? Well i agree with that guy who asked you to
Buy it and
Try It .
On a serious note ... any Touch Screen phone is not damage resistant. The weakest spot on these phones are their Screens. 2nd weak Spot ... well, the Screen.
Companies are talking 'some' precautionary measures by adding a Gorilla Glass Display which is famous being not easily breakable.
That said, A device will take more damage on an unexpected fall if its designed "Bulky" and "Weighs More".
So now, talking specifically with regard to Incredible S, it is Bulky, Weights More, But has a Gorilla Glass display ... 80% chances are it'll take more damages as compared to a GalaxyS2 which will get comparatively less damage if suffers an unexpected fall.
Talking specifically with regard to "Luck" ... as i said earlier, it totally depends on your luck.
Sometimes, you'll crack the screen of your handset by just sitting on it
Sometimes, you crack the screen by dropping it from a mere 2.5 feet height.
And sometimes your handset survives even if it fells from 10 feet (
just for the sake of argument, i dont really mean that 10 feet thingy
)
