Path tracing within the Red Engine renderer ain't comin' anywhere close to this. Further proof that Lumen + Nanite is a winning combination  🤜

Actoooal developer ka opinion foran quote kia gya, woh bhi Santa Monica Studio ka lol. How about the opinion of actoooal developer CDPR, which has moved to UE5 :ROFLMAO:

DF comparing this to Ride and Crysis Realism Mod from 12 years ago is all we need to realize how much CerebralTiger is overreacting to this. 😂😂😂

Unreal Engine 5 game using Nanite.

quality mode on PS5 and Series X is ~1296p
balanced goes down to ~792p
performance mode is ~720p.
Performance mode adds screen tearing but doesn't play noticeably better than balanced mode, making it one to avoid.
In terms of performance, on PS5's balanced mode we're often beneath the 60fps target, with dips all the way to the 30s possible in certain environments and in cutscenes.
720p, 30-60fps, broken VRR.

Meanwhile CerebralTiger thinking 120Hz support and LFC will fix everything:

Saeen FSR being the worst upscaler is nothing new.

PC version supports DLSS and Intel XeSS too

FSR2* not the OG spatial FSR.

They compare it with PC max 1440p and say it's comparable to native and better than FSR2.

Not bad TBH.

Also, Series X the only console with a true 120hz mode. Wao.

Saeen, here's the pecking order.

DLSS > XeSS > TSR > FSR2

Consoles are reconstructing to ~1440p, not 4K, the typical display for consoles. "better than FSR2" isn't the home run you think it is.

Besides, performance is an erratic 30-60fps in Balanced/Performance modes indicating the signature poor CPU scaling in UE5.

Also, Series X the only console with a true 120hz mode. Wao.
VRR is broken tho.

CerebralTiger knows which version won't be stutter CiTy, and it ain't the version Necrokiller's playin' :ROFLMAO:

So, the PS5/Series versions then. :ROFLMAO:

I'm not seeing a single spike above 33ms in Balanced or Performance mode here:

Unreal Engine 5 game using Nanite.

So, not the PS5/Series X versions, then 🤷‍♂️

Now show me how the PC version performs  🤜

Also worth noting that this isn't an open world game using Nanite. That'll be the real test for PC.

lol @ that "spike" metric when DF flat out suggest to avoid the performance mode. And they also say the performance is hardly better in Balanced mode 🤣

No amount of VRR or LFC is going to help here when the game just feels poor to play in terms of performance AND responsiveness.
