Just tested it with my X-FI sound card...well lets say i cant say nething other than 2 words = PURE AWESOMNESS!!

yaar i cant use my home theather setup to play my online games in which i have to use the mic aswell, hence the headset...

but they screw with ur mind after long USAGE.No matter how expensive they are.Ur Ears demand to BE FREEEEEE!!!!...:p
PLUS using headphones i can't wear my glasses..:p..Also u need to be aware of ur surroundings!!!.
btw i also use headphones(HD-200).:p
