Hey guys I'm having problems with torrent download speeds, Now my internet speed on Sppedtest.net is the same as always @ 1MB/s but my torrent sppeds are less than half the normal rate for 2 days now.I've tried multiple torrents from public and private trackers each with thousands of seeders but they all stay under 45 kb/s.I've checked my client and there's no download limit or any other limit set so what's going on?

Can you check & confirm with any other Torrent Client? If speeds are not going above 45KB/s then there should be a limit defined. If there isn't any, and you still are not going above 45KB/s, AND if your regular download speeds (using Download Manager) are fine, then i have absolutely no idea why its happening.
Report back after you try the above.

[MENTION=8060]abobobilly[/MENTION]..........I tried downloading with the download manager and it's the same problem.Usually I get about 90-100 kb/s on mediafire but now I'm getting about 55 kb/s. SO It's not actually a torrent problem but what's going on? Is my ISP limiting my downloads?
If it's happening away from torrents too, then yes, limiting issues. Call the ISP and ask them to fix your download speeds.

Now you may be wondering, how come you are getting right speeds on Speed Test. I think its because of the Initial Brust rate, which can shoot up the speeds. For example, if your port is set to 4Mb, then speed test's initial brust will go as high as 400KB/s, but will eventually come down to the actual speeds of your connection.

It probably wasn't working cuz there was a DDoS attack on it recently.

i am trying to download max payne 3. it has some 600 seeds but i can not connect to more than 2. i've never had this problem before. the file is 27 Gb. Is it possible that ptcl is restricting large downloads?. please help me. thanks in advance
