Netflix has another hit.

Its biggest strength is its setting IMO. The world in it is amazing with tons of concepts that will quench your sci-fi thirst, particularly the cyberpunk portion. I absolutely loved the world in it, and if you're a fan of things like Blade Runner, you'll most definitely like/love the world in it. I do wish some of the concepts were explored more or their consequences in the world were shown more, but maybe that's for the second season. Either way, there is so much in the first episode alone that it'll make your head spin, and you can think and talk about the concepts for hours.

Great production values; the high budget shows. It looks and sounds awesome. Hardly feel likes a TV series. The action is awesome as well even if the quality varies episode to episode.

The story revolves around a murder mystery which the protagonist is investigating. It was interesting and for the most part, was handled well. The pacing could have been better, though. It isn't all over the place, but there are portions where it either dips or rushes, giving a disjointed feel. Also, some aspects of the story - omitting them cause spoilers - didn't work well for me.

The characters left a lot to be desired. Most were good-ish or OK, hardly any were GREAT. Many of them went underdeveloped or didn't have enough interactions, and that sucked a lot more for the ones that were awesome, particularly this one A.I character Poe. It felt like a huge missed opportunity not giving him more screentime or interactions with other characters, to me at least.

Another missed opportunity was the absence of synthwave soundtrack. Would have surely boosted the feel of the world.

Anyway, while it's not a perfect series, it still is an awesome one if you're a fan of the genre. Since I am, I had an awesome time binging it. Don't know whether there will be a season 2 or not but I surely want one. A must watch but be warned that the series has loads of nudity and violence and disturbing concepts/stuff, so if you're squeamish about such things, steer clear.

guys what about the black mirror? it's all over the internet these days,
It's pretty awesome. An anthology series where every episode has its own story and characters. And the usual theme is technology being used in a dark way either in current times or in the near future.

The stories it comes up with are so interesting, and it legit scares you when things get to close to our current times, and I love it for that. Definitely watch it.

Electric Dreams: Electric Dreams is an anthology series, as in every episode has its own story and characters. It's kinda like discount Black Mirror, but with a more wider range of scenarios. 10 episodes in season 1. While most of the episodes have an interesting premise, it's the execution of several of them that leaves a lot to be desired. A few were meh, most were good-ish, but only found a couple or so to be GREAT.

Still, had an entertaining time overall and if you like watching anthology series that usually fucks with your mind, give it a watch. Some big names in it as well like Bryan Cranston and Steve Buscemi.

Manhunt: The Unabomber.
An excellent miniseries about America's most notorious bomber Ted Kaczynski, brilliantly portrayed by Paul Bettany.
