Man, screw SYFY for canceling The Expanse. It's easily the best space sci-fi series on TV right now. Season 3 has been KILLING it with its quality. Just top notch TV.

Since it was not owned by Syfy, they are looking for another home. I just hope someone picks them up.

5 reasons why every Pakistani family will love: Aangan

Pakistan’s flourishing drama industry is touching on a lot of stereotypical and taboo topics lately, proving that it is making strides in the right direction. We have produced dramas such as Kankar, Udaari, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Khaani and Baaghi to give center stage to issues that remain hidden behind closed doors.

However, stories depicting traditional joint family system were missing from our TV screens for quite some time. Writer Faiza Iftekhar noticed this fact and tried to fill the void by scripting the drama serial Aangan

The plot revolves around a joint family which comprises of several family members including dada (Mian jee), daadi, four chachas (paternal uncles) and chachis (paternal uncles’ wives), two phuppos (paternal aunts), their husbands and quite a lot of grandchildren. Residing under one roof, the family lives together, eats together and sits together to make mutual decisions to the extent of deciding names of their newborns.

5. It has got the right mix of suspense and humour

Final Words: Best drama so far. Highly recommended

Season 3 has been kicking ass through and through. For me, it's the best thing on TV right now, even edging out Westworld. I'm so glad Amazon picked it up cause this is Sci-Fi awesomeness of the next level.

Been a crazy space opera fan , i love that show , season 3 is kick ass , i do hope they don't end the season on cliff hanger like they do most of the episodes .

Yeah, season 3 is kicking major ass right now. Loving it. Only three episodes left, and I think it will be a cliffhanger, that is how they do it.

Westworld Season 2 might not have started that strong but boy oh boy did it make up for it. The penultimate episode was LIT AF!

Cannot wait for the finale.

Disenchantment (2018)
​

Season 1:

A new animated series from the creator of The Simpsons and Futurama, Matt Groening, taking place in the medieval fantasy times. Since I absolutely adore Futurama (one of my favorite animated series) and loved a lot of the Simpsons, I was naturally excited for this new series.

It looked and felt like what you would expect from a Matt Groening series taking place in medieval fantasy times but something was off. The jokes and their delivery felt lazy a lot of the times in the earlier episodes. They were also quite predictable and were not working. Also, having longer episodes of 28 mins instead of the usual 20 mins didn't help with the pacing.

But good thing the series picks up, later on, especially the last three episodes in Season 1 where the story gets going and I was finally hooked by the end. Looking forward to Season 2 now and hoping that it finds its footing there properly.

Final Space (2018)

Season 1: ... WOW!

Final Space is a new animated series and here is the official brief synopsis of the series: "An astronaut named Gary and his planet-destroying sidekick called Mooncake embark on serialized journeys through space in order to unlock the mystery of where the universe actually ends and if it actually does exist."

Someone recently recommended it to me and I thought why not just watch it asap cause there are only 10 episodes in Season 1 (Season 2 coming next year) and I gotta say, IT IS AWESOME!

From the very first episode, I was hooked. It feels like Futurama mixed with Rick and Morty mixed with a bit of Guardians of the Galaxy and/or Firefly, or at least it gave me feelings of those things. The characters are fun and likable and they are developed (even if quickly) so that you care more and more about them, the story and the universe are interesting and I can't wait to see more, the art/animation is great with sometimes being breathtaking, and the music... SO FUCKING GOOD! I can't tell you how much I loved the music and the songs used. Every single scene, whether emotional or epic, was elevated properly by the OST and the song choices. It was perfect.

The series has a FAST pacing from the start and while I do wish somethings were given more time because I just loved them and would have wanted more development for them, the pacing still works for the most part. It's extremely hard not to binge-watch this.

My favorite thing about the series is how it manages to have goofy and over the top humor and action scenes while having lots of emotional and heartfelt scenes as well that really does pull on your heartstrings and I ain't kidding. Hell, if going by the first season alone, I probably enjoyed Final Space way more than the first season of Rick and Morty and Futurama and lots of other cartoon series because of how well they executed the epic and emotional scenes and just how much content there was in this first season. It can get REALLY dark too and with a TV-14 rating, they really pushed it, and I loved that.

Overall, loved this new animated series. Only 10 episodes in Season 1 so I highly recommend giving this a shot. If you don't like the first episode don't give up, at least watch till episode 4 cause that is where things really start getting going. I can't wait for Season 2, and I have no idea what are they gonna do in it.

P.S Steve is the worst, but I still like him.

i read here that it was good and similar review on youtube etc so i started watching it and waited maybe the good part will start and so far i have even started s02 but still its really very stupid kind of show, i dont know why any one even likes it

does it gets any better or should i just stop watching it?
