So I heard all the chattering relating it. I checked it on iMDB, and figured out it only had 10 episodes, with a massive 9.6 rating, so why not?

I gotta say, from the very first episode, till the last one, brilliantly done... Especially the acting, and direction. A huge credit to those who managed this, there were ALOT of characters, and each of their's acting was SUPERB. The minutest details were well covered. A truly brilliant piece of work. The way they present the Army environment, from training, till the action on battlefield, my jaw was dropped the whole 10 episodes. THIS WAS PERFECT. This show contained emotion, feeling and everything you can get from it.

Last night I saw 4 episodes in a row, and on the last episode, I was wishing if I could see more. And I ended up on tears when last episode was finished.

Yeah, I accept that many things could've been exaggerated in this TV show, but I am safe to say, that I have gained ALOT more respect for the army and armed forces. No matter which country they're from, they bear ALOT of deep shit just for the sake of their people and to defend themselves... While we are sitting on our asses the whole day on Air conditioned rooms, they're the ones who are dealing with real problems. And really don't get much in return... May it be the Army of India, Pakistan, USA, it's all the same, just different names.

For the show, I'll easily give it a 10/10.

band of brothers is the best thing ever made for tv... you should now watch " the pacific" which is made by the same team of producers etc and covers the japan side of the story... that part focuses on the disaster of war and how it destroyed people from the inside like ptsd and stuff like that... although it is not as good as band of brother but it is pretty close and has more war action... it features the american marines fighting...

I just ended Hannibal and it has started to intrigue me. Haven't read the books but research yields that Mikkelsen's Hannibal is more closer to the book adaptation than Hopkins's Hannibal. Both very different characters on screen.

Hugh Dancy does a fabulous job as Will Graham. I'm loving the insight into his character something which "Red Dragon" failed to disclose properly. Oh and those culinary scenes are awesome!

The season finale was underwhelming and the show as a whole leaves a lot to be desired. I hope next season and onwards it doesn't start to drag.

oh don't worry about that... the pacific is awesome too... the pacific is pretty awesome in its own right with some genunley awesome battles scenes... you won't be disappointed... if you watch the best and expect everything to be as good then ofcourse you will be disappointed but there is always place for a #2 or #3 ... if you want same incredible quality then watch shows like deadwood or the wire after you watch the pacific...

All of them! I watched it as soon as the episodes came out. I liked the show. Its kinda stupid at times (plot-wise) but the action and the intense acting makes up for it.

I'm looking for some new show to watch. Last one I watched was Six Feet Under. I liked it, but it got kinda boring.

watched the u.s version of shameless(3 seasons that are out yet)...it is a story about the american ghetto degenerate scum family life... there is too much unwanted and pathetic vulgarity and not even a single likeable character... well the white fold without money are so damn dirty in this series that you can smell the stink through the screen... it is a story of people who are beyond help and atleast that part is convincing... series like this and californication or entourage show that the people on shows like "jerry springer" might actually be real

californication is better written ofcourse but revolves around the same principle of decadent american life... entourage was better as rich and famous are supposed to be like that... anyhow, this show "shameless" has better actors than californication and entourage but worse writers than both...

Watch sex and the city then. Highly recommended. I watched Friends all seasons like 5 times or morE. Its a Classic. Now m having it in Bluray Rip. Awesome experience
