The exchange guy says the issue is on their end (Valve) and that pings are high for everyone right now.
He's still checking it out with PIE though.

has it gotten better for you? cuz i am overall getting a ping of 350ms on pingtest and also my bo3 cant even connect on any server since morning. The service has gotten worse since yesterday.

It has actually gotten a lot better for me. Singapore and EU are down to 100 ms and 170 ms respectively.

have u tried connecting to bo3 ryt now? can u try it because in maddadas ping test im getting 200ms to eu and 110 ms to sea but when i test in pingtest i get 350ms and also bo3 doesnt connect? can u check bo3 and pingtest and report?

Doesn't BO3 connect to a server based on your location? You being in Pakistan would mean that you connect to a server with a host in Pakistan, no?

no bo3 has dedicated servers, and these servers are in eu and singapore also take a look at my connection stats, how am i getting 300ms ping on pingtest but on maddaddas im getting good pings on eu and sea?

Valve EU and SEA = Good pings.

BO3 = Not so good pings.

Since when did BO3 get dedicated servers?

Bo3 has dedicated servers since the beginning. It shows as an e at the end of numbers shown on the top right side of screen. Its an issue specific to my ip pool now i guess. I complained to ptcl. They sed issue will be resolved in 24 hours. Lets see what happens. Can anyone with 39.42 report how are the pings on their end.

First of all , Bo3 does not have dedicated servers at all only Battlefield 1/4 has dedicated servers . Bo3 is working fine for me the only problem is that many of players has left playing Bo3 . So, now its really hard to find a lobby .

22 to 25 for down and 10-15 for upload i am getting these snr in 8mb dsl connection

Anything above 15 dB (downstream) is acceptable, above 20 would be ideal and even higher would be excellent.

ok so lemme tell you dude, this game has dedicated servers since the beginning, you can go ahead and watch the videos on youtube from a year back. It has full dedicated servers but they are all present in eu and us. thats why we cant get pings less than 170ms.

I am going to opt for 5mb up down package for 1399 per month with 500 instalment package for ont, so guys i want to know how much will be the installation charges and how much i have to pay monthly after adding all taxes and stuff up

Anything above 15 dB (downstream) is acceptable, above 20 would be ideal and even higher would be excellent.

The specs of J1 match those of the T3 revision. I guess there's only a difference in region.
The firmware link which I have given is for BCM96318 which is on T3 and J1.
Your memory info is exactly the same as the T3 modem.
However, proceed at your own risk.
WE TRIED THE T3 FIRMWARE ON A J1 MODEM, DOESN'T WORK. DO NOT PROCEED WITH THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE HW REV: T3.


Here are the instructions:

1) Download the file from my Google Drive - HERE (New link added)
2) Make sure your electricity won't go at any random moment.
3) Connect to your modem via Ethernet cable.
4) Log in to the PTCL web portal.
5) Click on Management, then Update Software.
6) Choose file, select the file you downloaded.
7) Proceed to update.
8) The power LED will turn red, everything is fine. It will stay red for 2-3 minutes. Once it's green, unplug your ethernet cable.
9) After about a minute, re-connect your ethernet cable.
10) Open the browser, type 10.0.0.2 (which will be the new gateway/LAN IP for your modem)
11) Enter your VPI/VCI and PPPoE settings (0/103 for Copper and 8/81 for ONU/Fiber)
12) Press finish setup wizard.
13) Wait for it to connect.
14) Once it shows an IP address under IPv4 Address (WAN). You're all set.

I did exactly as suggested in your post and flashed my DSL-2750U HW J1 successfully. But the Lan ports don't work now and the lights of the router have changed their responses apart from DSL and Internet lights.
But I can surely connect and it's better than stock PTCL firmware. I managed to also find the latest update at D'link South Africa ftp portal ftp://ftp.d-link.co.za/DSL/DSL-2750...n T/T3/DSL-2750u_Firmware_AF_2.01_R03_Latest/ and flashed it successfully.
Furthermore I have noticed that both of the T3 updates I did, they didn't have any ".img" extension, in fact they didn't have any extension at all. While I tried to upload the image file with ".img" extension it failed but T3 didn't have any extension so it worked. I think PTCL router should be upgraded without those .img extensions. If you have a firmware that comes with the extension then remove the extension and upload it (only if with the .img extension, it fails).

Last thing, Dlink Middle East support website shows DSL-2750U HW J1 but firmware is not available. D-Link
