[Amarog]

Sxe isnt working fine with cs1.8.

If I run cs1.8 after minimizing sxe,

then it says "intercepting error,sxe will now close"

and then this readme file comes:

Do this:

Make a shortcut of the "hl.exe" file and right click on it and go into its properties. Then go into the "Shortcut" tab and in the "Target" box, type
-no master -game cstrike
in the pathway.

Example:
"F:\Counter-Strike 1.6\hl.exe" -nomaster -game cstrike

Install the correct version of CS 1.6

Its the "cstrike.exe" of my CS. Overwrite your cstrike.exe with this one and try it.

ok, after doing all that, when the cs1.8 was launched,

nothing happened, just there was a readme file created at the desktop:

Which OS do you have? Tell me about it along with the name of the Windows and its BITs.

Also, send me the path where you installed sXe.

I am convinced that its due to the "1.8" version of CS you are using that its giving you problems. Try the simple 1.6 one.

I too had trouble with CS before. But automatically it started working which is damn weird Its working fine now. I have 1.6 with version 21 lol never updated it. Its working fine so whats the need to update anyways.

I've got a problem too hope you people can help. I am using a Hp DV6T with 4 gb DDR2. Orignal Windows 7 is installed on it. So no downgrading to XP!! I installed the old patch at first V21. When I started the game an error appeared which said "Available memory less than 15MB!!!- some code written". So I thought why not install and check the new one. So I downloaded the newer patch V32. Then I started the game then again the same error appeared!! The available memory is 234 gb. Then why the hell won't the game start? Suggestions would be appreciated.

Download this file and replace it with your default one in the main <GAMEDIR> where the HLDS.exe is located too.
