btw what error it gives when you connect to a server? What happens?

Sometimes it happens that when latency is above 2000, it just shows that there is a server present but never connects to it. Check whether this is the problem...

when i install v19 patch it says dropped by client....wtf is wrong???

Failure

I downloaded and installed cs1.6 v32.1 as provided by ur link. its working fine and can connected to master server.
the problem arises when i download and installed sxe v11.7 (latest). after which i sxe and cs wont work along.. if sxe program is open cs wont open.
i tried the trick of replacing gameul file in csstrike folder = didnt work!
then i tried installed patches cs v36 followed by patch v23 (as posted on shary's thread) = didnt work! same prob occurs.

My machine specs: hp latop with intel core2duo 2GHz 64bit
4Gb ram, windows vista, intel graphics media accelerator 4500MHD with 2gb shared memory.

ps: without using sxe, the game runs just smooth.

Kindly post the log that opens up when you execute cs after minimizing sxe.
