The new Google Play Music is awesome btw.
Indeed it is.
However, as much
Ravishing (yes Ravishing - you should really jerk off to its sexy UI
) it lacks the most basic feature of a Music app. I can't
Delete any music file while staying in the app. It only gives you the option to
Remove from Queue thats all (slide to remove gesture).
While its not the first time i am seeing Google do that. When they released v4, it had exact same problem which continued till v4.3 of Play Music. Until 4.3x and onwards (4.44 and onwards), we had Delete function for music stored on the device.
Considering that, my hopes are high that they'll atleast add such a basic option in near future and don't make us wait.
Personally, after spending FIVE fully days with the app, i just could not stick to it anymore and had to go back to 4.5x of Play Music, JUST because I wanted the Delete function in-app so that i could delete the any music file I want and save my time to search them.
Also, Play Music v5 is much more than just a Player now. Sadly, living in Pakistan we can't enjoy its rest of the features which includes not only a Radio, but also includes Music Purchasing/Demo Testing etc.
I am not mistaken, Stock Android (ICS Onwards) doesn't let you move apps towards USB (Internal) Storage. Some Custom Roms DO make it possible though.
I don't know which phone you own but why don't you try it?
But you should know that the .apk files will always be installed on your Internal Memory and only those data files can be moved to USB (internal SD Card) or External (MicroSD Card) storage which are allowed to be moved (e.g. a Game's Data files).
