Jurassic World

I was lucky enough to catch this movie before EID before they took it down , but was to busy to write the review . I went with low expectations regarding this movie after i saw its trailer and i was thinking it might be over rated and people just love stupid movies like this and transformers , but i was wrong this movie was surprisingly good i don't remember much of previous Jurassic movies i was little when they come and never had any opportunity to rewatch them when i grew up .
Movie had every thing from humor to action and some scare , i liked that most of the setting was in day time cause that's where your cgi and all the stuff needs to be top notch which was for this one little homage to previous Jurassic's i guess to with t shirt and the vehicles , the ending quarter is little kinda lame but you can give pass on that it's may be left for future sequels to milk the new franchise, but i hope they leave the park stuff behind in sequels and take it to another direction.

Although acting was pretty good didn't found any character dumb or stupid like , one thing was quite funny bryce dallas howard in entire movie run , jumped , crawled wearing heels wow and didn't stumble a bit .

Chris pratt might be the luckiest actor these days since landing guardians of galaxy , who would have thought a dumb stupid guy from wanted

would be landing big roles , i mean he had so many different kind of side roles from zero dark thirty to being fat guy most of the time , the guy reduced weight gained weight for roles , and finally got chance to show case his talent in real way .
The movie wont disappoint you , and will keep you hooked till the end

watched american sniper and fast 7

I dont know what exactly they did , I mean the killed that olympic sniper guy and the guy who drilled in the head of the kid? where the fuck was he? and they returned , and the fellow who killed the american sniper, who he did that what did he do and where ................. the ending was so keetchi meetchi if someone would help me to get it

and about 7 I realy enjoyed I as I always do , but soundtracks this time wasnt so good :crazy:

Insurgent

Having liked Divergent and its setting, I was really curious to know more about the world they created. Insurgent starts off straight from where Divergent left off. The team is on the run and are looking for some place to lay low.

We got another A-list actor in this movie, Naomi Watts, who plays the rebellion leader. So it was Kate Winslet vs Naomi Watts. Her role was wasted in this movie though. Shailene Woodley was again good. I really liked Miles Teller in this. He was again the typical douche bag like he was in the previous film.

The story and pacing this time felt a bit more messy because in the previous film, there was this continuous progression that kept the film together. Here, it felt more like a random mix up of high and low points.

Now, I'm a sucker for rebellion scenarios and not surprisingly, I liked the said stuff here as well and plot points being associated with it. It did felt a lot similar to Hunger Game: Mockingjay story and I assumed it will progress a certain typical path, but the best thing happened during the end when the movie completely did the unexpected, for me atleast, and I loved it.

TA Novel adaptation, you can't do anything to avoid lovey dovey stuff in these movies, lame and cringe worthy. Also, Four's character was reduced to a secondary one. His relationship with his parents could have been exploited to get some more development on him.

The CGI was a mixed bag. Some stuff looked good, while others obviously looked CGI-ey. The dream sequences in particular got too fakey.

Wasn't as good as Divergent but if you liked the previous film, this is definitely a recommend watch then.

This time it had the vibe of terminator or matrix as the entire plot was about a single character. The movie didn't go along with the theme of sections rather focused on the story to move forward. The pace as pointed out wasn't consistent and a few parts were stretched while others were just fast forwarded. The end seemed rush with a surprise for those who haven't read the novels. However, the worst of all is about to come.
"The last novel will be released in two parts". Really can't think of any reason other than it literally following the suit of Hunger games.

The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1965)

I love John Le Carre. I haven't read many of his books, just the Smiley vs Karla trilogy and this one, but I have been mightily impressed by them. I will definitely read more of his oeuvre.


I read this book a little under a year ago and have been wanting to watch this movie for a while. I had heard nothing but good things. I finally got around to watching it, and boy it was brilliant.

Burton is a perfect Leamas and the movie captures Le Carre's atmosphere brilliantly. The philosophical undercurrent of espionage is there in all its glory, as is the case in much of Le Carre's books, the fight between loyalty and freedom and values and fidelity.


This is a spy movie done right. The defection, the interrogation, the court scene. Amazing.

This 'splitting of last book into two movies' thing was originally started by Harry Potter. And it was the only novel series adaptation that actually worked with it. The rest are just following it for cash grab. The Hobbit even went further and turned one book into three movies.

Exactly! Hobbit actually had a lot of things to explain left behind LOTR unexplained (felt so but I may be biased since I loved it )

I think if they went with the original plan of two movies, it would have been better. Three parts stretched out the story too thin and they had to add tons of fillers, majority of which just dragged the movies.
